Dallas Select is an American women’s soccer team, founded in 2007. The team is a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, the third tier of women’s soccer in the United States and Canada. The team plays in the South Division of the Big Sky Conference. Prior to the 2009 season they were known as Vitesse Dallas.

Donald Ray Crockett is a former American football player in the National Football League. He played for fourteen years in the NFL and earned two Super Bowl rings with the Denver Broncos as a cornerback. He played his high school football at Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas. He played college football at Baylor from 1984 to 1988, and was inducted into the Baylor athletic hall of fame in 2008. He notably returned an interception 96 yards for a touchdown against Dallas in 1991. On 20 Sep 1998, he intercepted Jeff George in the third quarter and returned it 25 yards, then did it again in the 4th quarter, returning it 80 yards for a touchdown, and Broncos record 105 combined interception yards.

The SMU Mustangs men's soccer team represents Southern Methodist University in men's college soccer. The team currently competes in The American Athletic Conference. The Mustangs made their most recent appearance in the NCAA National Tournament in 2018, their second consecutive tournament appearance and third in four seasons. In 2017, the Mustangs reached the round of sixteen for the 18th time in program history. In 2017, they also became the first program in American Athletic Conference history to claim both the regular season and conference tournament championship, a feat they repeated in 2018 defeating Temple 2-1 in the final game of the regular season and defeating UCF in a shootout in Orlando in the AAC Tournament Final. Fort Worth Vaqueros FC is an American amateur soccer club based in Fort Worth, Texas, which began play in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in May 2014. The Vaqueros play in the Lone Star Conference of the South Region. The club is based at FWISD Farrington Field. The team's name was announced at the Fort Worth Livestock Exchange Building on February 13, 2014, after a name the team contest. The team's official logo was selected by the fans then revealed by the team on March 20, 2014. The team played its inaugural 2014 season at historic LaGrave Field but had to relocate in 2015 after the Fort Worth Cats, from whom the Vaqueros had been subletting the field, lost their lease. The team played at Texas Wesleyan University's Martin Field for the next 3 seasons (2015–2017). Beginning in 2018, the Vaqueros will play at FWISD Farrington Field.
