Wood County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2010 census, the population was 74,749. Its county seat is Wisconsin Rapids. The county is named after Joseph Wood, a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Marshfield is a town in Washington County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,588 at the 2010 census.
State Trunk Highway 13 is a Wisconsin state highway running north–south across northwest and central Wisconsin. WIS 13 serves as a major north–south route connecting the communities of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield and Ashland. Highway 13 is part of the Lake Superior Circle Tour from its northern/western terminus to Ashland at is eastern junction with U.S. Highway 2. The road also provides access to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore off the Lake Superior shoreline at Bayfield. The highway is two-lane surface road with the exception of various urban multilane road sections.

Calvary, Wisconsin is an unincorporated community located in the town of Marshfield, in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. The community was originally know locally as Calvary Station since the community was built around the railroad depot for Mount Calvary. The depot for the Sheboygan-Fond du Lac Railroad needed to be built about 1 mile (2 km) north of the community because of the grade needed for trains to climb the Niagara Escarpment. It is located at the intersection of County Highways WW and WH. It is located in the heart of the Blue Sky Green Field Wind Farm in Wisconsin's Holyland Region.

The Willard D. Purdy Junior High and Vocational School, also known as Purdy School, is a historic school building located on Third Street in Marshfield, Wisconsin, United States. Built in 1919, it was the first junior high school in Marshfield. It was named after a local soldier who died in World War I. The building was designed in the Collegiate Gothic style by Childs & Smith from Chicago. A substantial addition to the school in 1926 increased the size by more than three-fold and was designed by architects Parkinson & Dockendorff from La Crosse, Wisconsin. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
