Kuching, officially the City of Kuching, is the capital and the most populous city in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. It is also the capital of Kuching Division. The city is situated on the Sarawak River at the southwest tip of the state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo and covers an area of 431 square kilometres (166 sq mi) with a population about 165,642 in the Kuching North administrative region and 159,490 in the Kuching South administrative region—a total of 325,132 people.

Sunway University is a private university based in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It has a 10 hectare campus comprising academic and residential blocks adjacent to the Sunway Lagoon theme park. It is located approximately 16 km from the centre of the city of Kuala Lumpur. It was opened in 1987 as Sunway College, part of which was then separated in 2004 and upgraded by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education to a university college. In January 2011 it was further upgraded to full university status and became Sunway University. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes taught in English.
