The letter Ƭ (minuscule: ƭ), called T with hook, is a letter of the Latin alphabet based on the letter t. It is used in the Serer language and possibly the African Refrence Alphabet which includes hooked characters, for example, ɓ.
Its lower case form, ƭ, formerly represented a voiceless alveolar implosive in the International Phonetic Alphabet.
The uppercase is in the Latin Extended-B range and the lowercase is in the IPA range.
The IPA and ExtIPA has a variety of characters, like β, ɑ, ɒ, and even others like đ, ə, ɘ, ƒ, ɟ, ɣ, ɦ, ι (obsolete, now Ɪɪ.), ɨ, ʝ, ƙ, ɭ, ꞎ (unused or extIPA), ɬ, ɮ, ʟ, ֵɳ, ɲ, etc.
In Unicode, the majuscule and the minuscule are located at U+01ACƬLATIN CAPITAL LETTER T WITH HOOK and U+01ADƭLATIN SMALL LETTER T WITH HOOK.
