The 13th Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held in Windsor, Ontario at the University of Windsor Stadium on July 29–31, 2005.

2003 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships

The 12th Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held in Bridgetown, Barbados at the National Stadium on 18–20 July 2003. Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt had the outstanding performance equalling the 200m World Junior record, while the team of the USA dominated the championships gaining 48 medals.

The 3rd Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships was held in Xalapa, Mexico, on 25–28 August 1978. This was already the second time that the city was hosting this event after the 2nd junior CAC games in 1976. Moreover, both the inaugural 1st CAC senior championships in 1967 and the VI CAC senior championships in 1977 took place in Xalapa, Veracruz. Both junior (under-20) and youth (under-17) competitions were held.

The 4th Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships was held in Nassau, Bahamas, on 22–25 August 1980.

The 8th Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships was held in Nassau, Bahamas, between 30 June-2 July 1988.

The 1st Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held in Sudbury, Ontario, on August 29–31, 1980.

The 2nd Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, on July 30-August 1, 1982.

The 4th Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held at Showalter Stadium in Winter Park, Florida, on July 4–6, 1986.

The 5th Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held in Santa Fe, Argentina, on June 23–25, 1989.
