The 2002 Segunda División B play-offs (Playoffs de Ascenso or Promoción de Ascenso) were the final playoffs for promotion from 2001–02 Segunda División B to the 2002–03 Segunda División. The four first placed teams in each of the four Segunda División B groups played the Playoffs de Ascenso and the four last placed teams in Segunda División were relegated to Segunda División B.

The season 2001-02 of Segunda División B of Spanish football started August 2001 and ended May 2002.

2002–03 Segunda División sports season

The 2002–03 Segunda División season saw 22 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. The teams that promoted to La Liga were Real Murcia, Real Zaragoza and Albacete Balompié. The teams that relegated to Segunda División B were SD Compostela, Racing de Ferrol, Real Oviedo and CD Badajoz.

The Segunda División, officially known as La Liga 2 and stylized as La Liga 1|2|3 for sponsorship reasons, is the men's second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system. Administrated by the Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LFP), it is contested by 22 teams, with the top two teams plus the winner of a play-off promoted to La Liga and replaced by the three lowest-placed teams in that division.
