The 2006 Women's European Water Polo Championship Qualifier was split into two tournaments to determine the last four competing teams for the 2006 Women's European Water Polo Championship, held from September 2 to September 9, 2006 in Belgrade, Serbia. Already qualified for the event are hosts Serbia, Hungary, Italy and Russia.

The 2006 Women's European Water Polo Championship was the eleventh edition of the now tri-annual event, organised by the Europe's governing body in aquatics, the Ligue Européenne de Natation. The event took place in the Banjica Sports Center in Belgrade, Serbia from September 2 to September 9, 2006.

Contents

Group A (France, Germany, Great Britain and the Netherlands) played a round robin in Nancy, France, while Group B (Czech Republic, Greece, Spain and Ukraine) competed in Madrid, Spain. Both events were held from April 7 to April 9, 2006.

The 2009 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships were held in Aberdeen, Scotland from 4 to 12 December 2009. The A-Group tournament took place at the Linx Ice Arena, and the B-Group are playing at Curl Aberdeen.

The winners of the Group C tournament in Howwood, Scotland move on to the Group B tournament in Monthey. The top eight men's teams at the 2010 ECC represented their nations at the 2011 Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Bronwen Knox water polo player

Bronwen Knox is an Australian water polo centre back/centre forward. She attended Hartwick College and Griffith University, earning a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, and works as a laboratory assistant. She started playing water polo when she was fourteen. She played for the National Water Polo League's Queensland Breakers before switching to the Victorian Tigers for the 2012 season. In 2013–14 season she played for the Greek powerhouse Olympiacos in the European competitions, winning the LEN Trophy.
