The Hong Kong League Cup 200708 is the 8th staging of the Hong Kong League Cup.

Contents

The competition started on 19 January 2008 with 10 Hong Kong First Division clubs and concluded on 22 March 2008 with South China beat Kitchee by 4-2 in the final. South China won their second League Cup title.

They made a 1–1 draw, scored by Sandro of Citizen and Detinho of South China.

It was a knockout competition for all the teams of Hong Kong First Division League. The winner would qualify for AFC Cup 2010, if it was a full member of The Hong Kong Football Association.

2008–09 Hong Kong FA Cup was the 35th season of Hong Kong FA Cup.

The 2009–10 Hong Kong Football Association First Division League was the 98th top tier football league of Hong Kong. Because of the renovation of Mong Kok Stadium which will last for two league seasons, the current First Division League has allocated eight stadia for the eleven participating teams to play their home games.
