The 2010 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 17 and 20 December 2009 at the Palais De La Glisse in Marseille. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the senior level. The results were among the criteria used to choose the French teams to the 2010 World Championships and the 2010 European Championships.
The junior level synchronized championships were held during this competition; junior and novice level competitions for the other disciplines were held separately.

The World Figure Skating Championships, commonly referred to as "Worlds", are an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Generally held in March, the World Championships are considered the most prestigious of the ISU Figure Skating Championships. With the exception of the Olympic title, a world title is considered to be the highest competitive achievement in figure skating.
Synchronized skating, often called synchro, is an ice skating sport where between 8 and 20 skaters perform together as a team. They move as a flowing unit at high speed over the ice, while performing elements and footwork.
Figure skating was first contested in the Olympic Games at the 1908 Summer Olympics. Since 1924, the sport has been a part of the Winter Olympic Games.
The Canadian Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of Canada. It is organized by Skate Canada, the nation's figure skating governing body. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels.
A figure skating competition is a judged sports competition in figure skating.
The International Skating Union organizes six annual Championships for figure skating. It is at the discretion of each member country which skaters, pairs or synchronized skating teams are sent to which championship.
The 2008 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 7 and 9 December 2007 at the Palais des Sports in Megève. Skaters competed at the senior level in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating. The event was used to help determine the French team to the 2008 World Championships and the 2008 European Championships.
The 2006 German Figure Skating Championships took place on December 27–30, 2005 at the LBZ Hohenschönhausen in Berlin. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating at the senior and junior levels.
The 2008 British Figure Skating Championships were held from 7 to 12 January 2008 in Sheffield. Skaters competed across the levels of senior (Olympic-level), junior, and novice, and across the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating. The event was used to help pick the British teams to the 2008 World Championships, the 2008 European Championships, and the 2008 World Junior Championships.
The 2009 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 19 and 21 December 2008 in Colmar. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the senior level. The results were one of the criteria used to choose the French teams to the 2009 World Championships and the 2009 European Championships.
The 2010 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international competition in the 2009–10 season. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the annual event awards medals in the disciplines men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
The 2010 Italian Figure Skating Championships was held in Brescia from December 17 through 20, 2009. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the levels of senior, junior, and novice. The results were used to choose the teams to the 2010 World Championships, the 2010 European Championships, and the 2010 World Junior Championships.
The 2009–10 Australian Figure Skating Championships was held in Penrith and Canterbury from 15 through 22 August 2009. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, ice dancing, and synchronized skating across many levels, including senior, junior, novice, adult, and the pre-novice disciplines of primary and intermediate.
The 2007 Italian Figure Skating Championships was held in Trento from January 4 through 7, 2007. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the levels of senior and junior, and novice synchronized. The results were used to choose the teams to the 2007 World Championships, the 2007 European Championships, and the 2007 World Junior Championships.
The 2011 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 17 and 19 December 2010 at the Patinoire de Tours in Tours. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the senior level. The results were among the criteria used to choose the French entries for the 2011 World Championships and the 2011 European Championships.
The 2013 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 13 and 16 December 2012 at the Patinoire Iceberg in Strasbourg. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the senior level. The results were among the criteria – along with FFSG minimum scores and jump requirements – used to choose the French entries for the 2013 World Championships and the 2013 European Championships.
The 2014 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 12 and 15 December 2013 in Vaujany. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the senior level. The results were among the criteria – along with FFSG minimum scores and jump requirements – used to choose the French entries for the 2014 Winter Olympics, 2014 World Championships, 2014 European Championship, and 2014 World Synchronized Skating Championships.
The 2020 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships were held on February 4–9, 2020 in Seoul, South Korea. Held annually since 1999, the competition featured skaters from the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
The 2022 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held from April 13–17, 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. Figure skaters competed for the title of junior world champion in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation during the 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and at the 2023 World Junior Championships.
The 2023 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held in Calgary, Canada, from February 27 to March 5, 2023. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation at the 2024 World Junior Championships.
