2011 BEKO Super Cup was a mini-tournament held between 4 European national basketball teams in preparation for the FIBA EuroBasket 2011. The tournament was held from August 19 until August 21 in Bamberg, Germany. Greece won the tournament with a 3-0 record.

They have won EuroBasket twice; in 1987, after beating the Soviet Union 103–101 in the final in Athens and in 2005, after beating Germany with a convincing 78–62 in the final in Belgrade. Greece is currently placed eighth in the FIBA World Rankings.

Jianzi, tī jianzi (踢毽子), tī jian (踢毽) or jianqiú (毽球), is a traditional Chinese national sport in which players aim to keep a heavily weighted shuttlecock in the air by using their bodies, apart from the hands, unlike in similar games peteca and indiaca. The primary source of jianzi is a Chinese ancient game called cuju of the Han dynasty 2000 years ago.
