The 2011 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship was a golf tournament contested from May 31 to June 5, 2011 at the Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma and was hosted by Oklahoma State University. It was the 73rd NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The team championship was won by the Augusta State Jaguars who won their second consecutive national championship by defeating the Georgia Bulldogs in the championship match play round 3–2. The individual national championship was won by John Peterson from Louisiana State University. [1] [2] [3]

This was the second NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, and the first since 2003, held at the Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma. It was the third NCAA tournament hosted by Oklahoma State University in 1973, 2003, 2011.

Karsten Creek Golf Club is located 6 miles (9.7 km) west on State Highway 51, just outside Stillwater, Oklahoma. It replaced Lakeside Golf Course as the home course of the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Men's and Women's golf teams in 1994. Karsten Creek now stands as one of the most respected college golf courses in America, and is a powerful aid in the recruiting and development of athletes in the 11-time national champion Cowboy golf program.

Lakeside Memorial Golf Course is a golf course located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Lakeside was opened in 1945 by architect and Oklahoma State University golf coach Labron Harris. It served as the home course for the 10-time national champion Oklahoma State University Men's Golf Team for almost 50 years until the opening of Karsten Creek Golf Club in 1994. Chuck Winstead is an American college golf coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the men's golf team at Louisiana State University.

It was the 74th NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The team championship was won by the Texas Longhorns who won their third national championship by defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide in the championship match play round 3–2. The individual national championship was won by Thomas Pieters from the University of Illinois.

The 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship was contested May 19–24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was the 41st annual tournament to establish the national champions of the 2023 season in NCAA Division I women's collegiate golf. The tournament was hosted by the Arizona State University & The Thunderbirds. There are both team and individual championships.
