The 2012–13 season is Lleida Esportiu's 2nd in existence and the club's 2nd season in Segunda División B.
Club Lleida Esportiu is a Spanish football team based in Lleida, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in July 2011 it plays in Segunda División B – Group 3, holding home games at Camp d'Esports, with a capacity of 13,500 seats.

Segunda División B is the third level of the Spanish football league system currently divided into 4 groups of 20 teams each. It is administered by the RFEF. It is below the top two levels of the league, the Primera División and the Segunda División, and above the Tercera División. The Segunda División B includes the reserve teams of several La Liga and Segunda División teams.
Pre-season saw a change of manager for Lleida, with Emili Vicente leaving the club on 15 June 2012. Toni Seligrat was unveiled as his replacement on 18 June.
Emili Vicente Vives was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder.
Note: Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.
As the governing body of association football, FIFA is responsible for maintaining and implementing the rules that determine whether an association football player is eligible to represent a particular country in officially recognised international competitions and friendly matches. In the 20th century, FIFA allowed a player to represent any national team, as long as the player held citizenship of that country. In 2004, in reaction to the growing trend towards naturalisation of foreign players in some countries, FIFA implemented a significant new ruling that requires a player to demonstrate a "clear connection" to any country they wish to represent. FIFA has used its authority to overturn results of competitive international matches that feature ineligible players.
