On 26 December 2013, a bomb blast took place in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal that killed five persons and injured five others. Militants of Kamtapur Liberation Organization are suspected to be behind the bombing. [1]

Jalpaiguri is a city in the Indian state of West Bengal. The 2006 West Bengal train disaster was a fatal suspected terrorist explosion on a train travelling between New Jalpaiguri and Haldibari that occurred on 20 November 2006, when the train was in a remote part of West Bengal State, India. Five people were killed, and between fifty and twenty-five were injured, although home secretary Prasad Ranjan Ray says officials believe there may in fact be as many as sixty-six injured. Two passenger cars were damaged. The explosion was due to a still-undetermined cause, but terrorism is suspected. The train was about 550 kilometres (340 mi) from Kolkata.

2008 Assam bombings

The 2008 Assam bombings occurred on 30 October 2008, before noon in markets in Guwahati city and the surrounding area of western Assam. Reports indicated as many as eighteen bombs went off, causing at least 81 deaths and 470 injuries.

2013 Hyderabad blasts 2013 terrorist attacks at a market in Hyderabad, India

On 21 February 2013, at around 19:00 IST, two blasts occurred in the city of Hyderabad, India. The bombs exploded in Dilsukhnagar, a crowded shopping area, within 100 metres (330 ft) of each other. The first explosion occurred outside a roadside eatery named A1 Mirchi, next to the Anand Tiffin Centre and opposite the Konark movie hall, followed by the second one two minutes later near the Route 107 bus stand close to the Venkatadri theatre.

The other four are: Jalpaiguri City, Mohitnagar/Jalpaiguri Halt, New Jalpaiguri and Jalpaiguri Junction. The station is a newly built-up junction station connecting the Barauni–Guwahati line and the New Mal–Changrabandha–New Cooch Behar line with the New Jalpaiguri–Haldibari line.
