The Bangladesh women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Bangladesh in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut when they played, and won, two matches against Thailand in July 2007 before participating in and winning the 2007 ACC Women's Tournament. Bangladesh were granted One-Day International (ODI) status in 2011 after finishing fifth in the 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. They played subsequently qualified for the 2014 ICC Women's World Twenty20, making their first appearance at a top-level women's international tournament.

Danielle Hazell is an English former cricketer. Born in Durham in 1988 she plays for the Sapphires in the 'Super Fours' competition and was a late inclusion into England's successful World Twenty/20 squad in 2009, replacing the injured Anya Shrubsole, although she did not appear in the tournament. She is a right-handed batsman and off break bowler. She made her Test debut in the one off Ashes Test at Bankstown Oval in January 2010. In January 2019, she announced her retirement from international cricket.

Bismah Maroof is a Pakistani international cricketer and current captain of the Pakistan national women's cricket team. She was the first woman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs for Pakistan.

Salma Khatun is an all round cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh cricket team. She is a right-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler. Salma was the captain of the Bangladesh Women's cricket team and also one of the best players among other women cricketers.

Shaila Sharmin is a Bangladeshi cricketer. In August 2019, she was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in Scotland.

Chamari Atapattu Sri Lankan cricketer

Atapattu Mudiyanselage Chamari Jayangani is a Sri Lankan cricketer and the current captain of the women's Twenty20 International team of Sri Lanka. She had a short stint as the captain of the Sri Lanka women's team, and was succeeded by the previous captain Shashikala Siriwardene. Chamari was the tenth captain for Sri Lanka women's national cricket team, winning only one ODI, with 13 losses. In November 2017, she was named the Women's Cricketer of the Year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.

Sharmin Sultana is a Bangladeshi cricketer. She made her Women's One Day International cricket (WODI) debut against South Africa on 16 January 2017.

The India women's cricket team played the Sri Lanka women's cricket team in September 2018. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs), which formed part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship, and five Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. The matches were played in Galle, Katunayake and Colombo. India Women won the WODI series 2–1, and the WT20I series 4–0, after the second match finished in a no result.

The following squads were selected for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament. On 10 October 2018 the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed all the squads for the tournament.
