The 2016 Bryant Bulldogs football team represented Bryant University during the 2016 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by thirteenth-year head coach Marty Fine and played their home games at Beirne Stadium. The stadium was renamed Beirnie Stadium from Bulldog Stadium on September 25. They were a member of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 5–6, 4–2 in NEC play to finish in a tie for third place.

The Bryant Bulldogs football program represents Bryant University in college football. As of the upcoming 2024 season, the Bulldogs will be members of CAA Football, an NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) league operated by, but legally separate from, the multi-sports Coastal Athletic Association. Bryant had played the 2023 season in the Big South–OVC Football Association, formed in that season as a football-only alliance also operating at the FCS level between the Big South Conference and Ohio Valley Conference.
