The UCI Men's scratch event of the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships was held on 2 March 2016. [1] [2] Sebastián Mora won the gold medal.

Sebastián Mora Vedri is a Spanish track cyclist and road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Professional Continental team Caja Rural–Seguros RGA. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's team pursuit for the national team.

Before 1900, they were administered by the UCI's predecessor, the International Cycling Association (ICA).
