Local elections were held on 12 March 2017 in Nikšić, on 7 May in Herceg Novi and on 26 November in the municipalities of Cetinje, Mojkovac and Petnjica, as well as Tuzi, which is set to become a municipality in 2018. [1]

Local election for Nikšić Municipality was held on 12 March 2017. It was boycotted by all the opposition parties after the Government announced the imprisonment of the leaders of the opposition coalition Democratic Front. [3] Only the ruling DPS and its minor partner SD ran in the election, with voter turnout at 45%, while 11% of the votes cast were spoilt.

The Italian Socialist Party is a social-democratic political party in Italy.

Early parliamentary elections were held in Montenegro on 29 March 2009. In addition to elections for the unicameral Parliament of Montenegro, concurrent local elections were held in Nikšić and Budva, as well as municipal presidential elections in Herceg Novi and Tivat. The parliamentary elections were the eighth since the reintroduction of multi-party system in 1990, and the second since regaining full independence in 2006.

2013 Alberta municipal elections

Municipal elections were held in Alberta, Canada on Monday, October 21, 2013. Mayors (reeves), councillors (aldermen), and trustees were elected to office in 16 of the 17 cities, all 108 towns, all 93 villages, all 5 specialized municipalities, all 64 municipal districts, 3 of the 8 improvement districts, and the advisory councils of the 3 special areas. The City of Lloydminster is on the Saskatchewan schedule (quadrennial), and held elections on October 24, 2012, while 5 improvement districts have no councils and are led solely by the Minister of Municipal Affairs. Since the 2010 municipal elections, portions of Lac La Biche County and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo formed Improvement District No. 349, and the villages of New Norway and Tilley were dissolved. From 1968 to 2013, provincial legislation has required every municipality to hold elections every three years. The Alberta Legislative Assembly passed a bill on December 5, 2012, amending the Local Authorities Election Act. Starting with the 2013 elections, officials are elected for a four-year term, and municipal elections are moved to a four-year cycle.

Elections were held in the organized municipalities in the Timiskaming District of Ontario on October 27, 2014 in conjunction with municipal elections across the province.

2017 Alberta municipal elections

Municipal elections were held in Alberta, Canada on Monday, October 16, 2017. Mayors (reeves), councillors (aldermen), and trustees were up for election in all cities, all towns, all villages, all specialized municipalities, all municipal districts, three of the eight improvement districts, and the advisory councils of the special areas.

The Canadian province of Quebec held municipal elections in its municipalities on November 5, 2017.

2008–10 Montenegrin municipal elections

Montenegrin municipal elections were held in all 21 municipalities, between April 2004 and October 2006. It resulted in the decisive victory of the ruling Coalition for European Montenegro in 18 out of 21 municipalities, where he has secured a majority, on its own or in a coalition with national minority parties.

2016–18 Montenegrin municipal elections

Montenegrin municipal elections were held in all 23 municipalities, between April 2016 and May 2018.

Local elections were held in Montenegro on 4 February 2018 for the municipalities of Berane and Ulcinj, and on 20 and 27 May in 11 municipalities, including the capital city Podgorica.
