Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova in the final, 4–6, 6–3, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2013 Miami Open. It was her record sixth Miami Open title, and Sharapova's fifth runner-up finish without winning the title.

Carla Suárez Navarro defeated Jeļena Ostapenko in the final, 1–6, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2016 WTA Qatar Open.
Victoria Azarenka defeated Serena Williams in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2016 Indian Wells Masters. It was her second Indian Wells title.
Karolína Plíšková defeated Angelique Kerber in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2016 Cincinnati Masters. It was her sixth WTA Tour singles title.The two would play each other three weeks later, in the final of the US Open; Kerber would avenge her loss by beating Plíšková in three sets.
Johanna Konta defeated Caroline Wozniacki in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2017 Miami Open.
Elina Svitolina defeated Caroline Wozniacki in the final, 6–4, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2017 Canadian Open. It was her third consecutive Premier 5 title, making her the first woman to win the first three Premier 5 tournaments in a season, as well as the first to win three consecutive Premier 5 tournaments since Wozniacki won Montreal and Tokyo in 2010 and Dubai in 2011. This was also Wozniacki's sixth consecutive loss in a final in 2017, making her the first to lose that many finals in a row in one season, as well as the first woman to lose six finals in a single season since Maria Sharapova in 2012.
Garbiñe Muguruza defeated Simona Halep in the final, 6–1, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2017 Cincinnati Masters. By losing in the final, Halep failed to take advantage of her third opportunity in 2017 to take over the WTA No. 1 singles ranking when the top ranking was only one match win away.
Kristina Mladenovic was the defending champion, but lost in the final to unseeded Petra Kvitová, 1–6, 2–6. As a result, Kvitová became the first left-handed player to win a singles title in Russia. She was also the first wildcard to win the event.

Kiki Bertens defeated Simona Halep in the final, 2–6, 7–6(8–6), 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2018 Cincinnati Masters. She saved a championship point en route to her first hard court and Premier 5-level title, and defeated the world No. 2 and No. 1 players, in the second round and final, respectively. Bertens became the first Dutchwoman to win the title.
Aryna Sabalenka defeated Petra Kvitová in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2020 WTA Qatar Open.
Victoria Azarenka won the women's singles tennis title at the 2020 Cincinnati Masters via walkover, after Naomi Osaka withdrew from the final with a hamstring injury. It was Azarenka's first singles title since the 2016 Miami Open, and her first since giving birth to her son Leo in December 2016.
Ashleigh Barty defeated Jil Teichmann in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Cincinnati Masters. Barty did not drop a set en route to her first Cincinnati Masters title. It was her fifth and last title of the season, her third WTA 1000 title, and her 13th career WTA Tour singles title.
Petra Kvitová defeated the defending champion Jeļena Ostapenko in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Eastbourne International. Ostapenko was aiming to be the first woman to defend the Eastbourne title since Justine Henin in 2007.
