The 2017 World RX of Canada was the eighth round of the fourth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event was held at the Circuit Trois-Rivières in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. [1]

The 2017 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy was the fourth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The season consists of twelve rounds, started on 1 April with the Spanish round at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and concluded on 12 November at the Killarney Motor Racing Complex in Cape Town, South Africa.

FIA World Rallycross Championship

The FIA World Rallycross Championship is a rallycross series organised by the FIA in conjunction with series promoters IMG Motorsport.

Circuit Trois-Rivières race track

The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada and has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières since 1967. The circuit is located on the Terrain de l'Exposition (fairgrounds) and is unusual in that it passes through Porte Duplessis, the narrow concrete gateway of the grounds at turn 3.

The Semi-Final was red-flagged as Solberg was taken to a hospital in Riga. At the hospital it was determined that he had broken two ribs and his left collarbone.

The 2018 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy is the fifth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the highest class of international rallycross.
