The Netherlands women's national softball team is the national team of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It is governed by the Royal Netherlands Baseball and Softball Federation. It is a member nation of the Confederation of European Baseball and the International Baseball Federation.

As of September 2022, WBSC Europe counts 40 members for baseball and 39 for softball.

The European Softball Federation, was the governing body of softball within Europe from 1976 until 2018, when it merged with the Confederation of European Baseball into WBSC Europe.

Canada's Senior Women's National Softball Team is one of the top-ranked softball teams in the world. The team represents Canada at international competitions such as the ISF World Championship, World Cup and Pan-Am Games events and competed at the Summer Olympic Games since the sport was inaugurated at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. World Baseball Softball Confederation is the world governing body for the sports of baseball, softball, and Baseball5. It was established in 2013 by the merger of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and International Softball Federation (ISF), the former world governing bodies for baseball and softball, respectively. Under WBSC's organizational structure, IBAF and ISF now serve as the Baseball Division and Softball Division of WBSC. Each division is governed by an executive committee, while the WBSC is governed by an executive board.

Great Britain women's national softball team is the national team for Great Britain. The team competed at the 1994 ISF Women's World Championship where they finished twenty-third. The team competed at the 2006 ISF Women's World Championship where they finished tenth. The team competed at the 2010 ISF Women's World Championship where they finished eleventh. The team competed at the 2022 Women's Softball European Championship where they won a silver medal.

Ukraine women's national softball team is the national team for Ukraine. The team competed at the 1994 ISF Women's World Championship in St. John's, Newfoundland where they finished twenty-sixth. They have not qualified since.

The Israeli Women's National Softball Team is the national team of the Israel. It is governed by the Israel Softball Association.

The 2018 Women's Softball World Championship was an international softball competition held in Chiba, Japan, from 2 August to 12 August. It was the 16th edition of the tournament, and the third edition to be sanctioned by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). Previous editions were sanctioned by the International Softball Federation, which governed the sport until its 2013 merger with the International Baseball Federation to create the WBSC. As the winners, the United States earned the right to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics. It was the last world title awarded under the championship format before the WBSC implemented the new world cup 4 year cycle.

The Super 6 Baseball and Softball is a tournament between national baseball teams in Europe, governed by the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB), the European Softball Federation (ESF) and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). It was held for the first and only time from September 18 to 23, 2018 in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. It was organized by the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB), the City of Hoofddorp and the local baseball club Hoofddorp Pioniers. It was featured by the top 6 nations of the 2016 European Championship and ESF Women's Championship.

The 2021 Women's Baseball World Cup would have been the ninth edition of the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup, the biennial international women's baseball world championship tournament. The competition was planned to be held in Tijuana, Mexico in late 2021, with dates to be announced. The competition was originally to be held in Monterrey, Mexico from 11 to 20 September 2020, and was initially rescheduled to be held in Tijuana from 1 to 9 March 2021, but was postponed both times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was cancelled altogether in October 2021.

The Bonn Capitals are a German baseball and softball club from Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, founded on November 8, 1989. Its first men's team has been competing in the Baseball Bundesliga since 1994 and currently plays in its northern division, the Bundesliga Nord, after initially playing in the southern division until 1996. The women's softball team was promoted to the northern division of the Softball Bundesliga in 2018.

The 2022 Women's Softball European Championship was an international European softball competition held in Sant Boi, Spain from 24 July to 30 July 2022. This was the 23rd edition of the Women's Softball European Championship.
