The Asia Series was an international club baseball competition, contested by the champions of all four professional leagues associated with the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC)—Australian Baseball League (ABL), Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), Korea Baseball Organization League, and Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB)—along with the CEB European Champion Cup holder and host city, to bring the number of teams to six.
The Venezuela national baseball team is the national team of Venezuela. It is currently ranked sixth in the world by the World Baseball Softball Confederation, behind the Mexico and ahead of the Netherlands. Euro League Baseball (ELB) was a professional baseball league in Europe founded by the European Association of Professional Baseball (EAPB) which played a single season in 2016. The winner of the ELB was awarded the Gregory Halman Trophy. ELB played its inaugural season in 2016 with three teams: Draci Brno, Haar Disciples and Buchbinder Legionäre Regensburg. The league's only championship was awarded to Draci Brno.

The 2022 WBSC Men's Softball World Championship was the 17th Men's Softball World Championship, an international softball tournament taking place in Auckland, New Zealand from 26 November to 4 December 2022. Originally scheduled for February 2021, the tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New Zealand last hosted the tournament in 2013. It will be the 17th edition of the tournament.
The 2024 Women's Baseball World Cup will be the 9th Women's Baseball World Cup, an international baseball tournament taking place in Thunder Bay, Canada, and one other to be determined location. The group stage will take place from 8-13 August 2023 as two separate tournaments in two separate locations. The finals will take place in Thunder Bay, Canada in 2024. This is the first Women's Baseball World Cup event to be held in two stages. It will be the third time Canada have hosted the tournament. It is also the first time more than one nation has hosted the tournament. Japan are the defending champions.

The 2022 European Champions Cup was the 59th iteration of the top European baseball club competition. It was held in Bonn, Germany in the Baseballstadion Rheinaue from 7 to 11 June 2022, with the Bonn Capitals acting as hosts.
