The 2023 World Cadets Wrestling Championships (28th) (U17) will be World Cadets Wrestling Championships of combined events, and took place from July 31 to 6 August in Istanbul, Turkey. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] World Cadet Wrestling Championships renamed to World U17 Wrestling Championships since 2021.

They instead participated as "Individual Neutral Athletes" (AIN). Nevertheless, in protest against participation of Individual Neutral Athletes, the Ukrainian team withdrew from the championships.
The 2023 World Junior Wrestling Championships (U20) was the 45th edition of the World Junior Wrestling Championships and was held in Amman, Jordan between 14 and 20 August 2023. The event was originally scheduled to be held in Warsaw, Poland from August 14-20. Due to Poland's refusal to issue visas to Russian and Belarusian wrestlers, United World Wrestling moved the tournament from Poland to Jordan.
