Agadir is a major city in Morocco, on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean near the foot of the Atlas Mountains, just north of the point where the Souss River flows into the ocean, and 509 kilometres (316 mi) south of Casablanca. Agadir is the capital of the Agadir Ida-U-Tanan Prefecture and of the Souss-Massa economic region.
Laayoune or El Aaiún is the largest city of the disputed territory named Western Sahara, with a population of 271,344 in 2023. The city is de facto under Moroccan administration. The modern city is thought to have been founded by the Spanish captain Antonio de Oro in 1938. From 1958, it became the administrative capital of the Spanish Sahara, administered by the Governor General of Spanish West Africa.

El Jadida is a major port city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, located 96 kilometres (60 mi) south of the city of Casablanca, in the province of El Jadida and the region of Casablanca-Settat. It has a population of 170,956 as of 2023.
Taza is a city in northern Morocco occupying the corridor between the Rif mountains and Middle Atlas mountains, about 120 km east of Fez and 150 km south of Al Hoceima. It recorded a population of 148,406 in the 2019 Moroccan census and is the capital of Taza Province.
Beni Mellal is a city in north-central Morocco. It is the capital of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Region and has a population of 192,676. It sits at the foot of Jbel Tassemit, next to the plains of Beni Amir. The modern town dates back to 1688, when Moulay Isma'il founded a kasbah (fort).

Inezgane is the capital of Inezgane-Aït Melloul Prefecture located on the north bank of the Sous River, about 11.5 km (7.1 mi) south of Agadir, on the Atlantic Ocean coast of Morocco. It is in some ways a suburb to the larger Agadir, but unlike the tourism-centered Agadir, Inezgane is a typical Moroccan/Berber city. Located where the N1, N8 and N10 highways meet, Inezgane is an important transport hub in the region of Souss-Massa. The record of the highest temperarures in Inezgane, 51.7 °C, is disputed.

Each prefecture or province is subdivided into arrondissements, municipalities or urban municipalities in other urban areas, and districts in rural areas. One prefecture (Casablanca) is also subdivided into préfectures d'arrondissements, similar to districts (cercles) except they are grouping a few arrondissements instead of rural municipalities.
Temara is a coastal city in Morocco. It is located in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, directly south of Rabat on the Atlantic coast, in the suburban area of the capital. The city with 313,510 inhabitants as of 2014 is the capital of Skhirate-Témara Prefecture. It is twinned with Saint Germain en Laye, France. The city has beaches and a small pleasure port.

Inezgane Airport or Agadir Inezgane Airport is an airport in Agadir, the capital city of the Souss-Massa region in Morocco. The airport is located approximately 14 km (9 mi) northwest of Agadir's Al Massira Airport. After being replaced by the Al Massira airport for civilian service, it is now a military air base.
The Sous River, Sus River or Souss River is a river in mid-southern Morocco located in the Sous region. It originates in the High Atlas and flows west passing Aoulouz, Taroudannt, Oulad Teima, Inezgane and Aït Melloul. It forms a basin which is protected from the desertic climate of the Sahara by the Anti-Atlas mountains and is one of Morocco's most fertile regions.
Aït Melloul Prison is a prison located in the city of Aït Melloul, near Agadir. It consists of two facilities, the first opened in 2003, while the second was opened in 2016. It is the biggest prison in the Souss-Massa region.
Temsia is a rural commune of Morocco. It is located on the south bank of the Draa River in the prefecture of Inezgane-Aït Melloul in Souss-Massa region, 20 km southeast of Agadir, the regional capital. It borders Aït Melloul to the west, Lqliâa to the southwest, and the commune of Oulad Dahou to the east. National Route 10 runs through the main town of Temsia in the northern part of the commune, while Agadir–Al Massira Airport, the international airport that serves Agadir and the surrounding cities, is located in the southern part.
Souss-Massa is one of the twelve regions of Morocco. It covers an area of 51,642 km² and had a population of 2,676,847 as of the 2014 Moroccan census. The capital of the region is Agadir.
Dcheira El Jihadia is a city in southern Morocco. It is located in the prefecture of Inezgane-Aït Melloul in Morocco's Souss-Massa region, 10 km south of the region's largest city of Agadir. The 2014 Moroccan census recorded 100,336 people living in Dcheira El Jihadia, up from 89,367 people in 2004.
