A.C.E (Korean : 에이스) is a South Korean boy group formed by Beat Interactive, and co-managed with Swing Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Jun, Donghun, Wow, Kim Byeongkwan, and Chan. The group debuted on May 23, 2017, with the single "Cactus".




Jun trained under Jellyfish Entertainment alongside VIXX before transferring to CJ E&M. [1] He appeared on Mnet's I Can See Your Voice as Kangta's look-alike. Donghun competed on Superstar K5 prior to becoming a trainee under CJ E&M, and later appeared on I Can See Your Voice as well, winning the episode and earning high praise from Got7's JB. Wow trained at YG Entertainment alongside Winner [1] before later moving to CJ E&M, where he met Jun and Donghun. [1] Kim Byeongkwan participated in Season 1 of K-pop Star but was eliminated during the final round of casting. [1] He also trained under JYP Entertainment alongside Chan. [1]

On May 23, 2017, A.C.E released their debut single album Cactus , a Hardstyle song produced by Zoobeater Sound. [2] [3] A.C.E released their second single album Callin' on October 19, 2017. [4] On March 15, 2018, the group released a special single titled "5TAR (Incompletion)", with the song serving as a gift to fans after their brief hiatus to join The Unit and MixNine. [5] [6]

On June 7, 2018, A.C.E released their repackaged album, A.C.E Adventures in Wonderland, with their title track "Take Me Higher". [7] Group member Chan did not take part in this album due to his promotions with temporary boy group UNB, after winning 9th place on survival show The Unit earlier that year. [8]

Group members Kim Byeongkwan and Donghun won 4th and 8th place respectively on survival show Mixnine in January 2018. [9] They would have debuted in a temporary boy group, but the MIXNINE debut was cancelled later that year. [10]

A.C.E featured on Dj Hcue Track single "I Feel So Lucky" that was released on September 14, 2018. [11]

On May 17, 2019, A.C.E released their second album Under Cover with the title track of the same name.

A.C.E released their third album, Under Cover : The Mad Squad on October 29, 2019, with the title track "Savage". [12]

A.C.E released their fourth album, HJZM : The Butterfly Phantasy on September 2, 2020, with the title track "Favorite Boys". [13] On January 8, 2021, a remix of the song by American DJ Steve Aoki, featuring the Nigerian-American rapper Thutmose, retitled "Fav Boyz", was released. [14] [15]

On February 5, 2021, it was announced that Swing Entertainment will co-manage A.C.E alongside Beat Interactive. [16] Swing Entertainment will be in charge of artist's domestic broadcasting appearances, while Beat Interactive is in charge of production, global marketing, artist care management and fan marketing. [17]

<i>Skool Luv Affair</i> 2014 EP by BTS

Skool Luv Affair is the second extended play by South Korean boy band BTS. The ten-track album was released on February 12, 2014 with "Boy in Luv" as its lead single. Two music videos, including a choreography only version, accompanied the single's release. A second single, "Just One Day", was promoted in April. Four different music videos were subsequently released in support of the song. A limited edition repackage of the album, Skool Luv Affair Special Addition, was released on May 14. The physical copy of the repackage contained eighteen tracks, including two new songs: "Miss Right" and "I Like It ", and six instrumentals. After remaining out of print for six years, Big Hit reissued the repackage on October 13, 2020 due to popular demand.

Dark & Wild is the debut studio album of South Korean boy group BTS. It was released by Big Hit Entertainment on August 20, 2014. The album contains fourteen tracks, with "Danger" as its lead single. The third track on the album, "War of Hormone", was later promoted as a secondary single.

Jung Seung-hwan is a South Korean singer signed under Antenna. He is best known as the runner-up contestant in SBS' K-pop Star Season 4. He is best known for his cover performance of Kim Johan's I Want to Fall in Love on K-pop Star 4 and dominated the Melon Charts for weeks. Before he made his debut, he became popular with his hit OST 'If It Was You (너였다면)'. Throughout his career, he has released several OSTs that have charted. He made his debut in November 2016 with the EP His Voice and later released his full studio album, 'Spring Again', in February 2018.
