The Associazione Calcio Milan Youth Sector (it. Settore Giovanile dell'Associazione Calcio Milan) is the youth system of Italian football club Associazione Calcio Milan (A.C. Milan). It encompasses several boys' and girls' age-group teams ranging from Under-8s up to Under-19s. Angelo Carbone is the current Head of the Youth Sector.

Milan Primavera is the men's Under-19 squad and the highest level team within the setup. They currently play in the Campionato Primavera 1. They also compete in the Coppa Italia Primavera and the Viareggio Cup.

The Primavera team train at Milanello alongside the first team and play the majority of their home games at the Centro Sportivo Vismara (Vismara Sports Centre) in Milan, which also serves as the training facility for the other youth system teams.

Manager history

Youth Sector

The Youth Sector has been responsible for producing some of the club's greatest ever players, including their top three all-time appearance makers, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi and Alessandro Costacurta, as well as several players, in recent years, who have managed to become regular players in Serie A. The training facilities are based at the Centro Sportivo Vismara (Vismara Sports Centre), a 57-acre (230,000 m2) site in Gratosoglio, Milan, [4] although the Primavera team train at Milanello alongside the first team.

The Youth Sector encompasses several age-group teams ranging from Under-8s up to Under-18s, divided as follows: [5]

Atalanta B.C. Youth Sector

The Atalanta B.C. Youth Sector comprises the under-19 team and the academy of Italian professional football club Atalanta B.C. The under-19 squad competes in Group C of the Campionato Nazionale Primavera. The club's Primavera side have been champions of Italy three times, having last won the championship in 2018–19. In stark contrast, the under-18 side has won the Campionato Allievi Nazionali on four occasions, most recently in the 2015-16 season.

Campionato Primavera 1

Campionato Primavera 1, known also as Campionato Primavera 1 TIM – Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti due to sponsorship and posthumous honour, is an Italian football youth competition. It was created in 2017–18 season by splitting Campionato Nazionale Primavera into two leagues: Campionato Primavera 1 and Campionato Primavera 2, and organized by Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A and Lega Nazionale Professionisti B respectively.
