An airside pass is a type of secure keycard issued by the authorities of a specific airport to their employees, and serves as a means for the employee to pass through security situated between the airside and landside sections of the facility. [1] Employees requiring an airside pass are subject to numerous security checks, including a criminal records check and proof of identity. [2]
Atatürk Airport is a general aviation airport in Istanbul. It formerly served as the main intercontinental passenger airport and cargo hub for Istanbul until it was closed to commercial passenger flights on 6 April 2019. From that point, all flights were transferred to the new Istanbul Airport. All freight operations subsequently relocated as well by 5 February 2022.

Traveling on the Skytrain is free and an inter-terminal journey takes approximately four minutes.
In rail transport, the paid area is a dedicated "inner" zone in a railway station or metro station, accessible via turnstiles or other barriers, to get into which, visitors or passengers require a valid ticket, checked smartcard or a pass. A system using paid areas is often called fare control. Passengers are allowed to enter or exit only through a faregate.
