Alchemy Vol.1 is the first international compilation album by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released in Finland as well as on iTunes on 16 March 2011. [2] The record includes five tracks from Signs of Life , three tracks from Carnival of Rust , two tracks from Revolution Roulette , three tracks from Twilight Theater , and two original compositions.

Amerie Mi Marie Nicholson, is an American singer-songwriter, author and actress. Poets of the Fall Finnish rock band

Poets of the Fall (POTF) is a Finnish rock band from Helsinki. The group consists of Marko Saaresto, Olli Tukiainen, Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen, Jani Snellman (bass), Jaska Mäkinen, and Jari Salminen.

Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen is a Finnish musician/songwriter/producer, and the keyboardist of the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. Kaarlonen first became known in the underground with his Amiga MOD music in the early 1990s. His first commercial album was released as Dance Nation's album Dawn in 1994. After that he worked as producer for pop group Aikakone.

Black Stone Cherry American rock band

Black Stone Cherry is an American rock band, formed in 2001 in Edmonton, Kentucky. They were signed to Roadrunner Records until 2015; the band is now signed to Mascot Label Group. The band consists of Chris Robertson, Ben Wells, Jon Lawhon, and John Fred Young. Black Stone Cherry has released eight studio albums as well as three EPs, and have charted eight singles on the US Mainstream Rock Tracks charts. Signs of Life is the debut album by the Finnish alternative rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released on 19 January 2005 and debuted at number-one on the Finnish charts. The album was certified platinum on 26 April 2006 and remained in the Top 40 for more than one year. The album was released on the iTunes Music Shop in Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden in August 2005. It was released on iTunes for worldwide purchase on 12 April 2008. A limited vinyl-edition was released on the band's official webshop on 19 January 2011.

The album went straight to the top of the Finnish Top 40 album chart and stayed inside the Top 40 for 26 weeks.

It was released in Finland on 22 March 2006 and in Germany on 1 December 2006. The single contains two versions of the track and a live recording of the song "Don't Mess With Me" from the band's first album Signs of Life. The track was recorded on 15 July 2005 at Rockperry Festival in Vaasa, Finland.

"Sorry Go 'Round" is a limited edition single by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall with a special, black lacquered cover. Every copy has a unique number. It features two versions of the track, which have been remastered in comparison to the full album's version. The band also planned to include a remix of the song, but this idea has been abandoned. Marko Saaresto Finnish musician

Marko Saaresto is the founding member, lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the Finnish alternative rock band Poets of the Fall. Saaresto worked as a graphic designer before forming the band in late 2002. Sam Lake, Saaresto's friend and writer of the Max Payne series of videogames offered Saaresto a job writing the lead single for the game Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Saaresto wrote the single along with guitarist Olli Tukiainen and were assisted with the production by Remedy engineer Markus Kaarlonen. The song, "Late Goodbye" became a cult hit and propelled Poets of the Fall's rise to stardom. Saaresto has since toured in over 15 countries with Poets of the Fall. He is a classically trained singer and has a bass-baritone vocals range. He later went on to have bigger success within the video game industry when him and his band wrote and performed for the soundtrack of Alan Wake.

The Ultimate Fling is the first single from the album Revolution Roulette by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released in Finland on 6 February 2008. The single features three versions of the title track as well as a live recording of "Fire", the opening track from the band's second album Carnival of Rust. The live version was recorded during the Poets' performance at the Ankkarock Festival 2007 on 5 August. The single peaked at number two in the official Finnish charts.

Imaginaerum is the seventh studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It was released on 30 November 2011 by Scene Nation Oy and Sony Music in Finland, then on 2 December in Nuclear Blast in the rest of Europe and Roadrunner Records worldwide. According to Nightwish songwriter Tuomas Holopainen, the album is a concept album that tells the story of an old composer who is reminiscing of his youth on his deathbed. The album was produced alongside the movie of the same name, directed by Stobe Harju, who previously directed Nightwish's "The Islander" music video, and the album and the film share the same themes and general story. It is their second and last album with vocalist Anette Olzon, as well as the last with drummer Jukka Nevalainen.
