Diadenis Luna Castellano is a Cuban judoka. At the 1996 Summer Olympics she won a bronze medal in the women's Half Heavyweight (–72 kg) category, together with Ylenia Scapin.
Estela Rodríguez Villanueva was a Cuban judoka. She won silver medals at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, both in the Half Heavyweight category. She returned a positive test to banned diuretic drug called furosemide at the 1996 Olympics, but was only issued with a reprimand, and allowed to keep her medals. Rodríguez died in Havana on 10 April 2022, at the age of 54.
Hülya Şenyurt is a Turkish female judoka. She won a bronze medal in Judo in the 1992 Summer Olympics. She became Turkey's first female and youngest Olympic medalist.
Barna Bor is a retired Hungarian judoka. He competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he lost in the last 32 to Islam El Shehaby. Emmanuel "Emma" Lucenti is a judoka from Argentina. He competed at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's half-middleweight (-81 kg). At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he lost in second round to Euan Burton. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he reached the quarter-finals, where he lost to Kim Jae-bum. As Kim continued on to the gold medal match, Lucenti took part in the bronze medal repechage, where he lost in the first round to Antoine Valois-Fortier. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, Lucenti was once again eliminated by Valois-Fortier, this time in the third round.
Éva Csernoviczki is a Hungarian judoka. She became the first Hungarian woman to win an Olympic medal in judo, after getting the bronze in the Woman's Judo 48 kg in the 2012 Summer Olympics. She also competed in the women's 48 kg event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where she was eliminated by Galbadrakh Otgontsetseg in the repechage.
Automne Pavia is a French judoka. In 2012, she won bronze at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the class –57 kg.
Marcus Victor Jan Nyman is a Swedish judoka. He competes in the men's −90 kg judo event. In the 2012 Summer Olympics he was eliminated after losing his first match. In the 2016 Summer Olympics he won three of five matches and finished fifth. Nyman won the gold medal at the 2010 European Judo Championships and the bronze medal at the 2011 and 2016 Championships.
Iván Felipe Silva Morales is a Cuban judoka who competes in the 81 and 90 kg division. He won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games and bronze medals at the 2014 and 2016 Pan American championships. He was eliminated in the second round at the 2016 Olympics.
Francisco Garrigos Rosa is a Spanish judoka. He won the gold medal in the men's 60 kg event at the 2023 World Judo Championships held in Doha, Qatar. In 2016, he competed at the Summer Olympics in the men's 60 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the second round by Tobias Englmaier.
The women's 52 kg competition in judo at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona was held on 1 August at the Palau Blaugrana. The gold medal was won by Almudena Muñoz of Spain.
