The Azadi Tower, formerly known as the Shahyad Tower, is a monument located on Azadi Square in Tehran, Iran. It is one of the landmarks of Tehran, marking the west entrance to the city, and is part of the Azadi Cultural Complex, which also includes a museum underground.

(1935 – 4 January 2017) was amongst the foremost Khyal vocalists in Pakistan, and a leading exponent of the Patiala Gharana. He was the younger of the singing duo Amanat Ali and Fateh Ali, who enjoyed immense prestige and success in Pakistan as well as India, until the sudden and unexpected death of Amanat Ali Khan in 1974 (1922-1974).
Mohammad Hosayn Ayrom was a senior military leader of the Pahlavi dynasty of Iran during the reign of king Reza Shah. He was the nephew of General Teymur Khan Ayromlou and a first cousin of Queen Tadj ol-Molouk Ayromlou. Singing duo of both brothers Amanat Ali Khan and Bade Fateh Ali Khan were together honoured with the 'Pride of Performance' award by the President of Pakistan back in 1969. He stands with great singing icons like Mehdi Hassan and Ahmed Rushdi and left behind hundreds of classical and semi-classical songs for the public to remember him by.

(25 September 1955 – 8 April 2007) was a popular classical, semi-classical and ghazal singer from Pakistan. Hailing from Patiala Gharana, Asad was son of musician Ustad Amanat Ali Khan. Asad Amanat Ali Khan died relatively young of a heart attack on 8 April 2007 in London.
Fereydun Adamiyat or Fereidoon Adamiyat was a leading social historian of contemporary Iran and particularly the Qajar era. He was the son of Abbasquli Adamiyat, a pioneer of the Iranian Constitutional Revolution. Fereydun Adamiyat received his B.A. from the University of Tehran and his PhD in diplomatic history from the London School of Economics. He is known for his original works on various aspects of the social and political history of Persia, most of them dealing with the ideological foundations of the Iranian Constitutional Revolution. Believing firmly in history's "Rational Movement", Adamiyat saw no conflict between normative judgement and claims to objectivity. Although predominantly published in Persian, he is often cited by Western scholars. His most famous book was Amir Kabir and Iran.
