Amapola Flyg is a passenger and cargo airline based in Stockholm, Sweden. It operates freight services on behalf of the Swedish Post Office, Jetpak and MiniLiner from Maastricht Aachen Airport and its main base at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. [2]
The airline was established and started operations in 2004 to take over postal services previously operated by Falcon Air. It is wholly owned by Salenia (a Swedish investment company) and has some 50 employees. [2]
On July 1, 2018, Amapola Flyg began passenger air traffic with regional routes in Sweden. In April 2021, the airline started flights in Finland from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Joensuu, on behalf of the Finnish State traffic authority Traficom. [3] The airline operated the Dublin to Donegal PSO (Public Service Obligation) service from July 2021 to February 2022, following the collapse of Irish airline Stobart Air. [4] [5]

[8] The airline is not part of major booking systems, so flights can't be booked through major travel agent sites, and transfer from other airlines must be done through separate tickets and new check-in.

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, or simply Helsinki Airport, is the main international airport of the city of Helsinki, its surrounding metropolitan area, and the Uusimaa region in Finland. The airport is located in the neighbouring city of Vantaa, about 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Tikkurila, the administrative centre of Vantaa and 9.2 NM north of Helsinki's city centre. Stockholm Arlanda Airport is an international airport located in the Sigtuna Municipality of Sweden, near the town of Märsta, 37 kilometres (23 mi) north of Stockholm and nearly 40 kilometres (25 mi) south-east of Uppsala. The airport is located within Stockholm County and the province of Uppland. It is the largest airport in Sweden and the third-largest airport in the Nordic countries. Air Åland AB was the provincial airline of Åland, with its head office on the grounds of Mariehamn Airport in Mariehamn, Åland, Finland. Starting from 1 July 2012, its operations were handed over to the Sweden-based company NextJet.
NextJet was one of the largest regional airlines in Sweden. It was headquartered in Frösundavik in Solna Municipality, just north of Stockholm. The airline filed for bankruptcy on 16 May 2018, half a year after one of its planes was believed to be sabotaged.
Mariehamn Airport (Swedish: Mariehamns flygplats is located in Jomala, Åland. The airport is located some 3 kilometres north-west of Mariehamn town centre. It served 61,568 passengers in 2017 and is operated by the state-owned Finavia.
Gällivare Lapland Airport is an airport located in Gällivare Municipality, Sweden, about 7 kilometres (4 mi) east from Gällivare and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) from Malmberget. Aer Lingus Regional is an Aer Lingus brand which has been used for commuter and regional flights. Aer Lingus Regional scheduled passenger services operate primarily from Ireland to the United Kingdom, France, and the Channel Islands, and also from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Services were operated by Stobart Air until the company informed Aer Lingus in June 2021 that it would no longer be in a position to operate the franchise. The contract for the franchise was then awarded to Emerald Airlines and services have since resumed in early 2022.

Stobart Air had operating bases in Cork, Dublin and Belfast for Aer Lingus Regional. It ceased operations on 12 June 2021.
