Andaz Apna Apna is a 1994 Indian slapstick comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, starring Aamir Khan, Salman khan, Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor in the lead roles. Mehmood, Govinda and Juhi Chawla make guest appearances. The film was released on 4 November 1994. The story of this movie is inspired from telugu movie 'Allullu Vasthunnaru'(1984). Again, the plot elements of this movie were later used in other language movies such as Ullathai Allitha (1996), Veedevadandi Babu (1997) and Galate Aliyandru (2000), though none being a frame to frame remake. The film was a failure at the box office but has since emerged as a cult film over the years. The lexicon of the movie has become part of every day language.

Mukesh Chand Mathur, better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Amongst the numerous nominations and awards he won, his song "Kai Baar Yuhi Dekha Hai" from the film Rajnigandha (1973) won him the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer.

Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri, better known as Jagdeep, is an Indian film actor and comedian who has appeared in more than 400 films. He is especially known for his comic roles. He played Soorma Bhopali in Sholay (1975), Machchar in Purana Mandir (1984), Salman Khan's dad in Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and directed the movie Soorma Bhopali, with his character as the protagonist.

Sushma Shrestha Nepali Indian singer

Poornima Shrestha, also known as Sushma Shrestha, is a noted Bollywood playback singer who has sung many superhit songs in Indian music industries. Sushma started her career as a child singer in Ramesh Sippy's 1971 film Andaz. In that film, she sang under the music direction of Shankar Jaikishan the song "Hai Na Bolo Bolo" along with Mohammed Rafi, Suman Kalyanpur and Pratibha. The song went on to become a hit.

Andaaz Naya Naya is a shelved Bollywood 3-D animation film directed by Anish Patel, and a remake of Andaz Apna Apna. The voices feature Salman Khan as Prem, and Aamir Khan as Amar; both actors reprising their roles from the original movie. Produced by SidharthM Jain and Prasad Ajgaonkar, the film was originally scheduled for release in 2013.
