Nadia Giosia, known professionally as Nadia G, is a Canadian celebrity chef, comedian, and punk rock singer. She is known for hosting the television shows Nadia G's Bitchin' Kitchen and Bite This with Nadia G, both of which aired on the Food Network Canada and the Cooking Channel. Giosia also launched a feminist rock, comedy and food festival in Los Angeles in 2015 called Riot Grill and plays in a punk rock band called The Menstruators. Giosia lives in Los Angeles, California.
A Book of Mediterranean Food was an influential cookery book written by Elizabeth David in 1950, her first, and published by John Lehmann. After years of rationing and wartime austerity, the book brought light and colour back to English cooking, with simple fresh ingredients, from David's experience of Mediterranean cooking while living in France, Italy and Greece. The book was illustrated by John Minton, and the chapters were introduced with quotations from famous writers.
The Pioneer Woman is a US cooking show that airs on Food Network. It is presented by Ree Drummond. The series features Drummond cooking for her family and friends, primarily at her ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The title of the series is taken from Drummond's blog of the same name.
