Viborg HK is a Danish professional handball club from Viborg. The club has many teams for both women and men, but especially the professional women's team is one of the most successful in Danish and European handball since the beginning of the 1990s. This team currently competes in the women's Danish Women's Handball League.
Katrine Fruelund is a former Danish team handball player and politician. She is two times Olympic champion. She received gold medals with the Danish national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She stopped playing for the Danish national team in 2008, but unretired for a single match in 2012. She ended her playing career in 2014.
