Ariake Urban Sports Park (有明アーバンスポーツパーク, Ariake ābansupōtsupāku) is an outdoor sports facility located in the Ariake district of Kōtō, Tokyo and built for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The venue covers a total area of 97,000 m². [1] The BMX, freestyle BMX and skateboard facility has a maximum capacity of 6,600, 5,000, and 7,000 spectators respectively. [2]
Differ Ariake was an indoor sporting arena located in the Ariake neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 1,246 seats and it was opened in 1999. It was mainly used for professional wrestling and martial arts events. The arena became known as the home of Pro Wrestling Noah, housing the promotion's offices and training dojo.
The Tokyo bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics and Paralympics was an unsuccessful bid, first recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on September 14, 2007. The IOC shortlisted four of the seven applicant cities—Chicago, United States; Madrid, Spain; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Tokyo, Japan; over Baku, Azerbaijan; Doha, Qatar; and Prague, Czech Republic—on June 4, 2008 during a meeting in Athens, Greece. This was followed by an intensive bidding process which finished with the election of Rio de Janeiro at the 121st IOC Session in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 2, 2009.
Ariake (有明) is a district in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It is best known as the region adjacent to and directly east of Odaiba. Ariake is subdivided into four chome and comprises part of the Tokyo Bay Landfill No. 10 and Tokyo Rinkai Satellite City Center. As of April 2012 its population was 6,145. Ariake is most well known internationally as the site of the Tokyo Big Sight international exhibition centre. Other important facilities located within Ariake include the Ariake Tennis Forest Park, Ariake Coliseum, Ariake Sports Center, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Tokyo Ariake University of Medical and Health Sciences, the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research and the headquarters of Universal Entertainment Corporation. Ariake is a center for shipping in the pulp and paper industry.

Shinonome (東雲) is a district of Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Ariake is to the west of it, and it is joined to Toyosu to the north by a bridge, and Tatsumi to the east by several bridges. Its subdivisions consist of 14 numbered chome. Located south of Toyosu, it is largely a residential area, with many apartments and condominiums.

Skateboarding was one of four new sports added to the Olympic program for 2020; it is also provisionally approved for the 2024 Summer Olympic games. The proposal to add skateboarding to the Olympics was approved in August 2016.

The Ariake Arena is a multi-sport venue located in Ariake, Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It served as the volleyball venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics and the wheelchair basketball knockout stage at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. This was the replacement of the Differ Ariake which was closed and demolished in June 2016.
