Ausviga or Ausvika is a rural area with housing estates in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The area is located along the Torvefjorden, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of the hamlet of Høllen and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of the hamlet of Trysnes. The 0.23-square-kilometre (57-acre) area has a population (2015) of 506, giving the area a population density of 2,200 inhabitants per square kilometre (5,700/sq mi). [1]
Søgne is a former municipality in the old Vest-Agder county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 2020 when it was merged with the municipalities of Songdalen and Kristiansand into the "new" Kristiansand municipality in what is now Agder county. It was located in the traditional district of Sørlandet, just outside of the city of Kristiansand. The administrative centre of the municipality was the hamlet of Tangvall. Hamlets and areas in Søgne include Ausviga, Eig, Høllen, Langenes, Lohne, Lunde, Ny-Hellesund, Trysnes, Vedderheia, Ålo, and Åros.
Nodeland is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder County, Norway. Nodeland was the administrative centre of former Songdalen municipality which was merged into Kristiansand in 2020. The village is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of the city center of Kristiansand. The village is the main urban area of Songdalen area, surrounded by several smaller villages such as Nodelandsheia, Brennåsen, Volleberg, and Hortemo.
Vanse is a village in Farsund municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) west of the town of Farsund and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of the village of Vestbygd. The Farsund Airport, Lista is located just west of Vanse. The village was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Lista from 1838 until its dissolution in 1965. The old municipality was known as Vanse from 1838 until 1911.
Eikeland is a village in southeastern part of the municipality of Gjerstad in Agder, Norway. It is located about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) southeast of the municipal center of Gjerstad and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north of the village of Søndeled. The Norwegian County Road 418 runs through the village.
Rykene or Rygene is a village located along the river Nidelva in Agder county, Norway. The village is primarily located in Arendal municipality, but a small portion of the village lies across the river in the neighboring municipality of Grimstad. Rykene is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the town of Grimstad and about the same distance south of the city of Arendal. Historically, the village grew up due to its close proximity to forests as the timber was floated down river to the sawmills in Rykene. Øyslebø is a village in Lindesnes municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located in the Mandalen valley along the Mandalselva river, about 21 kilometres (13 mi) north of the town of Mandal. The Sørlandet Line passes the village to the north, stopping at the Marnardal Station, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north of Øyslebø on the north side of the village of Heddeland. Øyslebø was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Øyslebø which existed from 1899 until 1964.

The village is surrounded by several other villages that together form the greater Søgne urban area. The village of Lohne lies about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the west, Vedderheia lies about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) to the north, Eig lies about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) to the southeast, and Tangvall lies about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the east. The village of Ausviga lies about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the south, but it is not part of the greater Søgne urban area.

The village is located along the Trysfjorden, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) east of the small village of Ålo on the opposite side of the fjord. The villages of Tangvall, Lunde, Ausviga, and Høllen all lie about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) to the east of Trysnes.
Brennåsen is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located along the river Songdalselva, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) southeast of the village of Nodeland and about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) north of the village of Volleberg. The European route E39 highway passes through Brennåsen as it travels between the cities of Kristiansand and Stavanger. The village was part of Songdalen municipality prior to 2020 when that municipality was dissolved.

Høvåg is a village in Lillesand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of the town of Lillesand and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of the city of Kristiansand. The village lies on the northern shore of the Kjerkekilen, a strait leading from the Blindleia to the Isefjorden. The village is the site of Høvåg Church and from 1865 until 1962, it was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Høvåg.
