Yelena Gadzhievna Isinbayeva is a Russian former pole vaulter. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, a three-time World Champion, the current world record holder in the event, and is widely considered the greatest female pole-vaulter of all time.
Isinbayeva was banned from 2016 Rio Olympics after the appearance of an independent report about an extensive state-sponsored doping program in Russia, thus dashing her hopes of a grand retirement winning the Olympic gold medal. She retired from athletics in August 2016 after being elected to serve an 8-year term on the IOC's Athletes' Commission.
Christian Olsson is a former Swedish athlete competing in high jump and triple jump. He won an Olympic gold medal, one gold and one silver medal in the World Championships and two gold medals in the European Championships as well as a further two golds in the World Indoor championships. He also won the overall IAAF Golden League jackpot in 2004 where he cashed in 500,000 US dollars.

It has staged the Amateur Athletics Association Championships, and was the venue of the 1998 Disability World Athletics Championships. Genzebe Dibaba Keneni is an Ethiopian middle- and long-distance runner. She won the gold medal in the 1500m at the Beijing World Championships and a silver medal in the 1500 meters at the 2016 Olympics. Genzebe is the current world record holder for the 1500 m, the indoor 2000 m, the indoor 3000 m, the indoor 5000 m, the indoor mile, and the indoor two mile. Her 2000m indoor world record is also the absolute world record, as it is faster than the previous outdoor mark. With those eight world records Genzebe holds the distinction of having the most world records held simultaneously by any athlete in history, male or female. She is often considered the greatest female miler ever.
The Sainsbury's International Match, formerly known as the Aviva International Match, was an annual indoor track and field athletics meeting which takes place in late January in Glasgow, Scotland. The televised competition is the first major indoor event in the United Kingdom's athletics calendar. It was held at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena from 1988 to 2012. It moved to the Commonwealth Sports Arena from 2013 onwards.
Kaliese Spencer Carter is a Jamaican track and field athlete who specialises in the 400 metres hurdles. Spencer was the Commonwealth Games champion in 2014 and a double silver medallist at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. She finished fourth at both the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and the 2011 World Championships in Athletics. She was the 2006 World Junior champion.
The Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix, formerly known as Aviva Indoor Grand Prix, is an annual indoor track and field competition which is held in mid-February at the Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, England. It is one of a handful of events to hold IAAF Indoor Permit Meetings status. As one of the later major meetings of the indoor athletics season, it often serves as preparation for the biennial European Athletics Indoor Championships and IAAF World Indoor Championships. The meeting is directed by former athlete Ian Stewart and attracts numerous high calibre athletes including World and Olympic medallists.
Yvette Lewis is an American-born track and field athlete who competes for Panama in the 100 meter hurdles and the triple jump. She represented the United States in international competition until October 2012 when switched to compete for Panama. Her best time in the hurdles is 12.76 seconds while her best triple jump is 13.84 meters. She won the gold medal in the hurdles at the 2011 Pan American Games
Richard Kilty is a British track and field sprinter who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres. His personal bests for the events are 6.49 seconds, 10.01 seconds and 20.34 seconds, respectively. Coached for several years by 1992 Olympic 100 m champion Linford Christie, Kilty switched to Rana Reider in late 2013, when the American coach was recruited by UK Athletics. He is the 2014 World, and 2015 and 2017 European Indoor 60m champion. He also gained numerous British national sprint titles, including UK junior 100m champion and two-time English Schools national 100 metres champion, during his years at Northfield School and Sports College. On the British club-level, he represents Middlesbrough AC Mandale, which is his local track club in his native northeast England.

The IAAF World Indoor Tour is an annual series of track and field indoor meeting, held since 2016. It was designed to create a IAAF Diamond League-style circuit for indoor track and field events, to raise the profile of indoor track and field athletics.
