The Azerbaijan Regional League (Azerbaijani : Azərbaycan Region Liqası) is the third tier of football in the Azerbaijani football league system. Regional League is run by the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). [1]

The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan is the governing body of football in Azerbaijan. Formed in 1992, it is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the amateur and professional game in its territory.

FK Standard Sumgayit

FK Standard Sumgayit was an Azerbaijani football club. They played in the AFFA Supreme League, the top division in Azerbaijani football. Founded in Baku, the club moved to Sumgayit on 12 June 2009, which changed also club's name to Standard Sumgayit.

The Azerbaijani Premier League is the top tier in Azerbaijani club football. The league is contested by 8 teams, in which the season runs from August to May. The winner enters the UEFA Champions League from the first qualifying round.

Azerbaijan Premier League 2007–08 was the fifteenth season of top-tier football in Azerbaijan. The season started with 14 teams, but ended with 13 after FK Gäncä were excluded. FK Baku were the defending champions with the season began on 5 August 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. At the end of the season the league was dissolved and replaced by the Azerbaijan Premier League.

The 2007–08 Azerbaijan Premier League is the 16th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Khazar Lankaran were the defending champions, having won the previous season.

ARB is a private television station in Azerbaijan. It is tenth nationwide public channel. The channel is created after merger by Azerbaijan's regional channels, which includes Kapaz TV, RTV, Cenub TV, El TV, Kanal-S and Turkel TV.

The 2015–16 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 24th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Qarabağ were the defending champions, having won the 2014–15 Azerbaijan season.
