Ba. is a Lithuanian rock band. It was formed in Vilnius, Lithuania.
ba. (initials of Benas Aleksandravičius) began as a solo music project. From childhood Aleksandravičius enjoyed creating sounds and playing electric guitar. He made his first breakthrough at 17 with the song "Tai ne žmogus" (English: "It's not human") in 2013. His music video gained attention and popularity on YouTube.
Later, Benas collaborated with Jonas Butvydas (drums). they played many concerts and festivals. In 2013, ba. released its first EP album Raktas ("key"). The album had five tracks. The following year, EP Namai ("home") came out with 3 tracks.
After touring, ba. released a full-length album Rasti/Pasiklysti in 2015. Its most popular songs were "Tai ne žmogus", "Sugebet pasikeist", "Naktį judu" and "Į mane", garnering views on YouTube and recognition on radio and television.
ba. strengthened the group's structure by adding Maratas, on bass guitar. The band released another EP, SAULĖSUŽTĖMIMAS" in 2016 and EP Garsiai Mastau in early 2017.
The same year, filmmaker group "TWODICKSKLAN" made a visual trilogy, Kūną palikai/Atsibudai.
In 2017, Maratas and Butvydas left the band, replaced by Simonas Motiejūnas (guitar), who had played with ba. occasionally in early years, Nikita Voitovas (bass guitar) and Dominykas Babikas (drums). They continued to perform.
In 2018, ba. published a book Chaosas manyje nieko naujo (Chaos inside me is nothing new), which consisted of photos from backstage at performances and a CD with their most popular songs. The band released a documentary film about the group's wild musical life.

Veruca Salt is an American alternative rock band founded in Chicago in 1992 by vocalist-guitarists Nina Gordon and Louise Post, drummer Jim Shapiro, and bassist Steve Lack. They are best known for their first single, "Seether", which was released on the 1994 album American Thighs. That success was followed up with 1997's Eight Arms to Hold You. By 1998, Post was the only original member still in the band and continued on with other musicians. Veruca Salt released the album Resolver in 2000 and the album IV in 2006. After a hiatus in 2012, the band reformed with its original lineup. Their fifth studio album, Ghost Notes, was released in 2015.
Alphaville is a German synth-pop band formed in Münster in 1982. They gained popularity in the 1980s. The group was founded by singers Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Frank Mertens. They achieved chart success with the singles "Forever Young", "Big in Japan", "Sounds Like a Melody", "The Jet Set", and "Dance with Me". Gold remains the only continuous member of Alphaville. They took their name from Jean-Luc Godard's movie of the same name.
Samhain was an American rock band formed by singer Glenn Danzig in 1983, immediately following his departure from Misfits. Glenn Danzig originally planned Samhain as a side project with Eerie Von. After the Misfits' contentious 1983 dissolution, Samhain became Danzig's full-time band.
Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997. Primarily a pop-punk group, their music is recognized for having a distinct sound in its genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", and "Lights and Sounds". The band has released ten studio albums, with its most recent, Yellowcard, released on September 30, 2016. Following this release and supporting tour, the band broke up. The band reunited in September 2022 for a performance at Riot Fest and are embarking on a 20th-anniversary tour for Ocean Avenue in 2023. A new EP, Childhood Eyes, released on July 21, 2023.
Cornershop are an English indie rock band best known for their single "Brimful of Asha", originally released in 1997 and, in a remixed version, topping the UK chart in 1998. The band was formed in 1991 by Wolverhampton-born Tjinder Singh, his brother Avtar Singh, David Chambers (drums) and Ben Ayres, the first three having previously been members of Preston-based band General Havoc, who released one single in 1991. The band name originated from a stereotype referring to British Asians often owning corner shops. Their music is a fusion of Indian music, indie rock, alternative and electronic dance music.
The Notwist are a German indie rock band. Formed in 1989, the band moved through several musical incarnations, despite maintaining a relatively stable line-up. While their early records moved through heavy metal into dark indie rock, their recent efforts for which they have received the most attention have been strongly influenced by the electronica scene, along with the other groups on the record label, Morr Music.
Blind Illusion is an American progressive thrash metal band from Richmond, California. Formed in 1978 by lead guitarist and main songwriter Mark Biedermann, the band has had several lineup changes, with Biedermann being the only constant member. Blind Illusion is also notable for featuring Les Claypool and Larry LaLonde, both later of Primus, who performed bass and guitar respectively on their 1988 debut album The Sane Asylum.
Starflyer 59 is an American alternative rock band from Riverside, California that was founded in 1993 by Jason Martin, brother of Ronnie Martin of Joy Electric. While Jason Martin has written nearly all of Starflyer 59's songs, the band has included a number of different musicians over the years, including Jeff Cloud, Frank Lenz, and Richard Swift. The band's sound was initially identified as an outgrowth of the shoegaze movement of the early 1990s, but the band's music has gradually evolved to the point of little resemblance to that of its early days.
Dope is an American metal band from New York City, formed in 1997. The band has released seven full-length studio albums with their most recent studio album, Blood Money Part Zer0, being released in February 2023. The lineup currently consists of founding member and lead singer Edsel Dope, guitarist Virus, bassist Acey Slade and drummer Daniel Fox.
Robert Swire-Thompson is an Australian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ, best known as the founder and vocalist of the drum and bass and electronic rock band Pendulum, as well as DJ and co-founder of electro house duo Knife Party formed of Swire and Gareth McGrillen. Originally from Perth, Western Australia, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 2003 with fellow Pendulum co-founders Gareth McGrillen and Paul "El Hornet" Harding. Swire has since fulfilled a broad spectrum of roles as a member of Pendulum, ranging from songwriting to singing while performing live with an unusual guitar-like MIDI controller – Starr Labs' Ztar Z6S-XPA. Swire also plays guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion, and other instruments. He is sometimes referred to by the stage name Anscenic.

Vanilla Sky is an Italian pop punk group formed in 2002. Their first album, Play It If You Can't Say It, was released November 6, 2002. The band currently consists of Jacopo Volpe on drums, Francesco Sarsano on bass, and both Vincenzo Mario Cristi and Daniele Brian Autore on vocals and guitar. To date they have released 4 albums, regularly play tours in mainland Europe and have had modest success in Japan.
Fleet Foxes is an American indie folk band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 2006. The band currently consists of Robin Pecknold, Skyler Skjelset, Casey Wescott, Christian Wargo, and Morgan Henderson. Founding members Pecknold and Skjelset have been the only constants through the group's history, with the former serving as leader and principal songwriter.

September Mourning is a metal band, which incorporates a transmedia dark culture project created by Emily Lazar and Marc Silvestri. The conceptual project was formed by frontwoman, vocalist, and screamer Emily Lazar in New York in 2009. The concept narrative created by Lazar and incorporated in the band and their performances, centers around the fictional story of a human-grim reaper hybrid named September, as she navigates the worlds of the living and the dead. The character's human-side possesses the empathy to give some human souls a second chance. The story is presented on different media platforms, including music, comic books, and live concerts. The comic books are published by Top Cow Productions Image Comics.
Weesp is an alternative post-metal band from Minsk, Belarus. The band style can be described as a mix of heavy and recognizable riffing, groovy drumming beats, analogue synth sounds, and melodic expressional vocals. Even though band members used to call their style alternative rock, some music journalists describe it as “combination of metal and rock genres”, and some songs they define as nu-metal.
Lake Effect Kid is the ninth extended play (EP) by American rock band Fall Out Boy, released on August 23, 2018, through Island and DCD2. It is the band's second EP, and third studio release overall, to be released in 2018 following their seventh studio album Mania and eighth EP, Llamania, the latter which was released under the moniker Frosty and the Nightmare Making Machines. The EP is the first release to feature Sean O'Keefe credited as producer since the band's EP, My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue (2004). It consists of one re-recorded track, "Lake Effect Kid", which was originally released on the group's 2008 mixtape Welcome to the New Administration, and two unreleased tracks. The EP also sees a return to the band's older pop punk sound.
