Batman is a video game developed by Sunsoft and released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1990. It was inspired by the 1989 Tim Burton-directed Batman film. The game is more faithful to the film's plot than the NES game of the same name and includes levels in which the player controls Batman's vehicles.
The music was composed by Naoki Kodaka who also wrote the music for the NES game. [2]

IGN gave the game a review score of 6/10, praising the gameplay and its faithfullness to the film but noted the game as short and not especially challenging. [10] The game holds an aggregate score of 70% on GameRankings. [11] Mega Play's four reviewers gave Batman very positive reviews and praised the game's graphics and gameplay, although they commented that the game is not as challenging and the gameplay is a little slow. [12] Console XS gave an overall review score of 82%. [13] Mega Action gave a review score of 83% and praised the game's graphics. [14] Megatech magazine praised the graphics and sound, calling it "truly tremendous" and described the backgrounds as "sombre-looking as the sets in the film". It also lauded the game's soundtrack. The only criticism they had was the game being fairly easy to beat. [15] The four reviewers of Electronic Gaming Monthly gave Batman very positive reviews, praising the gameplay staying true to the film and praised the graphics, music and sound effects and one reviewer opined the game is "the ultimate side scrolling action game for the genesis". They criticized the game being too easy and short. [16]

Sonic 3D Blast, known in Europe and Japan as Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island, is a 1996 platform game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series for the Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn. As Sonic the Hedgehog, the player embarks on a journey to save the Flickies, birds enslaved by Doctor Robotnik. The player must guide Sonic through a series of themed levels to collect Flickies and defeat Robotnik. Valis III is a 1990 action-platform video game originally developed by Laser Soft, published by Telenet Japan and NEC for the TurboGrafx-CD. A Sega Genesis version was released in 1992. It is the third entry in the Valis series. It stars Yuko Asou, a Japanese teenage schoolgirl chosen as the Valis warrior and wielder of the mystical Valis sword after the events of Valis II. King Glames, wielder of the sword Leethus, leads denizens of the dark world to conquer both Vecanti and Earth, seeking refuge for his people amid the destruction of their planet. Together with the demon warrior-maiden Cham and her sister Valna, Yuko must prevent Glames from destroying both worlds. Through the journey, the player explores and searches for items and power-ups while fighting enemies and defeating bosses.
Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures is a 1994 platform video game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a video game adaptation of the Indiana Jones films Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). The game was developed by Factor 5 and published by JVC Musical Industries. The story is told through cutscenes and text and is mostly faithful to the movies. Its release coincided with that of Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, also released by JVC and LucasArts and in the same platform style as the Super Star Wars trilogy.

Kid Chameleon is a 1992 platform game developed and published by Sega released for the Sega Genesis. In the game, a boss character with artificial intelligence in a virtual reality video game begins abducting players and the main protagonist Casey goes in to beat the game and rescue them. He does this by using masks to shapeshift into different characters in order to use different abilities. It was later released in Japan as Chameleon Kid. After its initial release in 1992 for the Genesis, it was later re-released a number of times in the 2000s, including part of the Sega Smash Pack 2 for the PC in 2000, the Sega Genesis Collection for the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2 in 2006, as a digital release on the Wii's Virtual Console in 2007, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2009 and for the Sega Forever service in 2017.
Ghostbusters is a 1990 platform shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. It features an original story based on the Ghostbusters films, and is unrelated to a 1984 Ghostbusters game by Activision. The game was released in the United States in August 1990, and was released in the United Kingdom later that year. A Brazilian version by Tec Toy was released for the console in 1991.
