The Madrid Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Madrid, capital of Spain. The system is the 14th longest rapid transit system in the world, with a total length of 293 km (182 mi). Its growth between 1995 and 2007 put it among the fastest-growing networks in the world at the time. However, the European debt crisis greatly slowed expansion plans, with many projects being postponed and canceled. Unlike normal Spanish road and rail traffic, which drive on the right, Madrid Metro trains use left-hand running on all lines because traffic in Madrid drove on the left until 1924, five years after the system started operating.
The Seville Metro is an 18-kilometre (11 mi) light metro network serving the city of Seville, Spain and its metropolitan area. The system is totally independent of any other rail or street traffic. All 22 stations were built with platform screen doors.

Line 10 of the Madrid Metro is a rapid transit line in Madrid that is actually the product of two formerly separate lines. Today the route begins at Hospital Infanta Sofía and ends at Puerta del Sur (Alcorcón). Passengers must transfer at Tres Olivos between the "line 10A" segment, which covers the portion of the route south of the station, and "line 10B," which extends north to Hospital Infanta Sofía.

The C-4 is a line and rail service of Cercanías Madrid commuter rail network, operated by Renfe Operadora. It runs from Colmenar Viejo and Alcobendas – San Sebastián de los Reyes north of Madrid to Parla south of Madrid. The C-4 shares tracks for part of its length with Madrid commuter rail service line C-3 through the city of Madrid. The line has been in operation since 1981.

The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain.
The 2022–23 Primera Federación season was the second season for the Primera Federación, the third highest level in the Spanish football league system. Forty teams participated, divided into two groups of twenty clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions were automatically promoted to Segunda División, while the second to fifth placers played the promotion play-offs and the bottom five were relegated to the Segunda Federación.
