Jabu Khanyile was a South African musician and lead vocalist from the band Bayete.

Todd Cochran, is an American pianist, keyboard and synthesizer player. He sometimes performs as Bayeté or Umbra Zindiko. He released two albums on Prestige Records in 1972 and 1973. He was also a member of Fuse One, a coalition of jazz musicians who released two albums on CTI Records in 1980 and 1981.

Cecil Rhodes British businessman, mining magnate and politician in South Africa

Cecil John Rhodes was a British businessman, mining magnate and politician in southern Africa who served as Prime Minister of the Cape Colony from 1890 to 1896. An ardent believer in British imperialism, Rhodes and his British South Africa Company founded the southern African territory of Rhodesia, which the company named after him in 1895. South Africa's Rhodes University is also named after him. Rhodes set up the provisions of the Rhodes Scholarship, which is funded by his estate. He also put much effort towards his vision of a Cape to Cairo Railway through British territory.

Brampton Stallions were a Canadian soccer team, founded in 2001. The team was a member of the Canadian Soccer League, the highest level soccer league in Canada, and played in the National Division. The team played as the Brampton Hitmen until 2004.

Ras Sheehama is a Namibian reggae musician. The political pro-SWAPO stance of his father forced him into exile in 1979 to Angola and Zambia. There he started to develop his love for the reggae-music and begin to play guitar. In Zambia for the first time he got in contact with the Rastafari and Reggae culture. During the time at a highschool in Lagos, Nigeria between 84 and 88 he played in several Reggaebands. When he returned home in 1990 to witness the first free elections in his home country, he brought huge experiences to Namibia.

Nothin' 2 Lose is a 2000 American comedy film, directed by Barry Bowles, and starring Brian Hooks and Shani Bayeté. It was also written by Bowles, and was his second directorial effort, after first working with Hooks in Q: The Movie, in 1998. The film was registered as a low-budget movie in 1999.
