Beijing–Tangshan intercity railway is a high-speed railway connecting Beijing and Tangshan in eastern Hebei. The railway opened on 30 December 2022. [2]
From Beijing railway station [1] to Baodi railway station,the Beijing–Binhai intercity railway will share its northern segment with the Beijing–Tangshan intercity railway before continuing southeast-ward to Binhai West railway station. [3]
The railway will begin at Beijing railway station,which is located in Dongcheng District of Beijing. [1] The Beijing Sub-Center railway station is under construction and will be finished in 2024. And then it crossing into Hebei's Xianghe County. Next it crosses Tianjin's Baodi District to re-enter Hebei at Tangshan City's Yutian County and Fengrun District. Finally,it will terminate at Tangshan railway station. Total line length of will be approximately 163 km (101 mi),with a total of 8 stations and a design speed of 350 km/h (220 mph). [4]
Construction on the railway was originally scheduled to start in 2009 [5] but the completion has been delayed after a nationwide rail review following the 2011 Wenzhou Rail Incident. Construction was eventually started on 29 December 2015. [6] The railway opened on 30 December 2022. [2] [7]

The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and suburban rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta,People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16,2005,the State Council approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji,Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan,by 2020,the network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009,the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region. The Suishen ICR,Guanhui ICR and Guangfozhao ICR accept Alipay,avoiding the need to purchase tickets in advance.

Zhengzhou–Kaifeng intercity railway,abbreviated as the Zhengkai intercity railway,is a higher-speed intercity railway in Henan,China,connecting Zhengzhou and Kaifeng. It is part of the larger Central Plain Metropolitan Intercity Rail network. Construction commenced on December 29,2009. With a designed top speed of 160 km/h (99 mph),it is built as a double tracked electrified passenger dedicated line. Total length of this project is 50.33 kilometres (31.27 mi),costing an estimated 5.5 billion yuan to construct. Some trains through operate to Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport via the Zhengji ICR or to Jiaozuo via the Zhengjiao ICR.
The Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway,also known as the Jingzhang intercity railway,Jingzhang high speed railway,Jingzhang section of Beijing-Baotou PDL,is a driverless high-speed railway between Beijing and Zhangjiakou in Hebei province,China. The line was opened on 30 December 2019,and is the world's first fully driverless high speed railway,shortening the traveling time from Beijing to Zhangjiakou from 3 hours 7 minutes to 47 minutes. It forms part of both the longer Beijing–Lanzhou corridor and the Beijing–Zhangjiakou–Datong–Taiyuan branch of the Beijing–Kunming corridor.
