Belgramoni–Tacco Mansion (Slovene : palača Belgramoni-Tacco; Italian : palazzo Belgramoni-Tacco) is a mansion in the city of Koper, in southwestern Slovenia. It was built around 1600. It features elements of Renaissance and Baroque, but in general has been regarded as a Mannerist building. [1] The mansion currently serves as the seat of the Regional Museum of Koper. It is protected as a cultural monument of local significance.

The Coastal–Karst Statistical Region is a statistical region in southwest Slovenia. It covers the traditional and historical regions of Slovenian Istria and most of the Karst Plateau, which traditionally belonged to the County of Gorizia and Gradisca. The region has a sub-Mediterranean climate and is Slovenia's only statistical region bordering the sea. Its natural features enable the development of tourism, transport, and special agricultural crops. More than two-thirds of gross value added are generated by services ; most was generated by activities at the Port of Koper and through seaside and spa tourism. The region recorded almost a quarter of all tourist nights in the country in 2013; slightly less than half by domestic tourists. Among foreign tourists, Italians, Austrians, and Germans predominated. In 2012 the region was one of four regions with a positive annual population growth rate (8.1‰). However, the age structure of the population was less favourable: in mid-2013 the ageing index was 133.3, which means that for every 100 inhabitants under 15 there were 133 inhabitants 65 or older. The farms in this region are among the smallest in Slovenia in terms of average utilised agricultural area per farm and in terms of the number of livestock on farms.
The Diocese of Koper is a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in southwestern Slovenia. It is part of the ecclesiastical province of Ljubljana. Its cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and is located in the Adriatic port town of Koper. A co-cathedral, the Co-Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, located in Nova Gorica, gained its status in 2004. The Latin name of the diocese, Dioecesis Iustinopolitana, is due to the fact that Koper was in the past name Justinopolis in honour of the Byzantine emperor Justinian II.
The Praetorian Palace is a 15th-century Venetian Gothic palace in the city of Koper, in southwest Slovenia. Located on the southern side of the city's central Tito Square, it houses the Koper city government and a wedding hall. It is considered one of the city's architectural landmarks.
The Carli Mansion is a mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It is named after the family of the historian and encyclopedist Gian Rinaldo Carli, who was born in it in 1720. It is an example of the Baroque architecture, with a balcony in the piano nobile, decorated with a three-mullioned window. Its inner court, decorated with frescoes, has a fountain from 1418.
Almerigogna Mansion is a mansion in Koper, a port town in south-western Slovenia. It is one of the most significant Gothic monuments in the town.
Gravisi–Buttorai Mansion is a mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It is a protected monument of local significance. The mansion is situated at Shoemaker's Street in the old town center. It was the seat of a branch of the Gravisi family, whose senior line had the title of Marquis of Pietrapelosa, first granted to Nicolò Gravisi in 1440.
Gravisi–Barbabianca Mansion is a Baroque mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It was built in 1710. It was the family seat of the Gravisi family, who held the title of the Marquis of Pietrapelosa. Today it is the home of a music school.
Brutti Mansion is a mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It was built in the late-Baroque style in 1714 according to plans by the architect Giorgio Massari, at the request of Count Barnabi Brutti.
Assumption of Mary Parish Church in Dekani is the parish church of the Parish of Dekani, a village near the city of Koper in southwest Slovenia. It was built in 1229, rebuilt towards the end of the 15th century, consecrated in 1493, and restored and enlarged in 1902.
St. Bassus's Church is a church on Prešeren Square in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It has the function of a chapel of the Parish of Koper–Assumption of Mary. The building, which dates from the end of the 16th century, at first served as a hospital of St. Nazarius and was consecrated as a church by Koper Bishop Paolo Naldini in 1706. It was significantly rebuilt in 1731. It has a Baroque interior with a single nave and a flat ceiling. The rich Baroque interior furnishings include the main altar with images of St. Nazarius and St. Bassus, a statue of St. Bassus in the vestry, and a Romanesque crucifix from about 1120, later Gothicised, that was believed to have miraculous powers. It is made of polychrome wood and depicts a triumphant Christ.

The Koper Regional Museum has been housed since 1954 in the spacious early 17th century Belgramoni Tacco Palace, and is responsible for the movable cultural heritage in Primorska region of Slovenia. The museum originated in 1911 as the Municipal Museum of History and Art. At its centenary in 2011, the museum opened a new permanent exhibition Between the Serenissima, Napoleon and the Habsburgs and enriched its collection.
The Slovene Riviera is the coastline of Slovenia, located on the Gulf of Trieste, by the Adriatic Sea. It is part of the Istrian peninsula and is 46.6 km long. Arena Bonifika is an indoor sporting arena located in Koper, Slovenia with a seating capacity for 3,000 spectators. The hall is a part of the Bonifika Sports Complex, together with a smaller athletics stadium, and an indoor swimming pool. In 2013, Arena Bonifika was one of the venues for EuroBasket 2013.
