Andrea Belluzzi is a Sammarinese politician who served as a Captain Regent with Roberto Venturini, from April to October 2015. He was previously a member of the Grand and General Council.He works as a lawyer, is married, and has a son.

Giovanni Battista Belluzzi (1506–1554), also known as Giovanni Battista di Bartolomeo Bellucci and as Il Sanmarino, was a Sammarinese architect. He was born in San Marino on September 27, 1506 and at 18 years of age was sent by his father to Bologna, to learn commerce under Bastiano di Ronco, a merchant of the Guild of Wool. After two years, he returned to San Marino, where he set up a wool business of his own. His first wife, Cagli, died shortly after they were married. His second wife was the daughter of Girolamo Genga (1467–1551). The couple lived with Girolamo Genga, from whom Giovanni learned architecture. In 1541, his second wife died, leaving Giovanni to raise two sons. In 1543, Giovanni entered into the service of Cosimo I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, as an engineer. He designed fortifications for Florence, Pistoia, Pisa and San Miniato and also wrote a book on military architecture. He was wounded in the siege of Montalcino and was killed by enemy fire in a fortress of Aiuola.

The Sammarinese Fascist Party or PFS was a fascist political party that ruled San Marino from 1923 to 1943.

Maria Luisa Berti is a Sammarinese politician who was a Captain Regent for the April to October 2011 political term. The post was shared with Filippo Tamagnini.

General elections were held in San Marino on 4 March 1923 to elect the seventh term of the Grand and General Council. It was a snap election which marked the beginning of the Fascist rule of the republic. Left-wing parties were prevented from participating, while all centre-right forces ran as a single "Patriotic Bloc". Of the 60 seats, 29 were taken by the Sammarinese Fascist Party, 20 by the Sammarinese People's Party, 9 by the Sammarinese Democratic Union and two by the Fascist-puppets Volunteers of War. Later the country was taken over by the Fascist Party.

General elections were held in San Marino on 12 December 1926 to elect the eighth term of the Grand and General Council. It was a sham election, all opposition being prevented to participate by internal and Italian threats. After it had taken over the country in April 1923, the Sammarinese Fascist Party was the only party to contest the elections, winning all 60 seats, while the official report spoke of a sole dissident bullet. A new electoral law guaranteed safe undisputed seats to the two incumbent Captains Regents.
