BerriBlue (born 1992) is a Polish / Irish painter and street artist based in Porto, Portugal. [1]

Biography

Berriblue was used the pseudonym "JTB", under which she was well known for her pasteups in Dublin. [2] She adopted the name "BerriBlue" when she came to Portugal. Her pasteups have been a common sight in Porto since at least 2017. [1] [3]

Berriblue has been outspoken about mental health, including her own experiences, which is a frequent theme of her work. [4] [5] Other themes are identity, sexuality, and mortality. [6]

Her work is mostly non-political, but she has created various works and murals in support of abortion rights in Ireland in 2017, [7] [8] and in Poland in 2021. [9]

Berriblue is also known for her fashion design, [10] [ failed verification ] studio paintings and azulejos, with some recognition internationally. [4] In 2021, one of her azulejo pieces was exhibited beside an Invader (artist) piece in Warsaw [11] [ failed verification ] [12] and later sold at auction. [13]

It is located at the entrance of the Baía de Todos os Santos, is 300 metres (980 ft), and ranges between numerous Portuguese colonial-period military fortifications. Architecture of Póvoa de Varzim

Sobrado Azulejado Mansion in Brazil

The Sobrado Azulejado, also Sobrado de Azulejos, is a late 19th-century commercial building in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. It is located in the Comércio district on Praça Cayru, a public square, and close to the Mercado Modelo public market. The house is entirely glazed in azulejo, a tin-glazed ceramic tile; all of the tiles of the sobrado were manufactured in Portugal. The structure was listed as a national heritage site by the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN) in 1969. Udo Knoff, a ceramics researcher, called the building "the most azulejo-tiled building" in Bahia.

The Diário de Lisboa was a daily evening newspaper published in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon between 1921 and 1990.
