HK Blake Garden AA Ltd.(Chinese : , also known as HK Blake Garden AA and Blake Garden), is a football club in Hong Kong. As of 2011 it plays in the Hong Kong Third A Division League. It was formed by a group of football fans in Blake Garden, Hong Kong. It had competed in the Hong Kong First Division League.

History

In the 1970s, Blake Garden attracted lovers of football. A group of teenagers formed a team called Blake Garden. The team registered as a member of HKFA, and competed in Hong Kong Third Division League.

Hong Kong Football Association

The Hong Kong Football Association Limited, often abbreviated to the HKFA, is the governing body of association football in Hong Kong. Its current chairman is Brian Leung Hung-Tak and its Acting Chief Executive Officer is Paul Woodland.

Hong Kong Third Division League is the fourth-highest division overall in the Hong Kong football league system under the organization of Hong Kong Football Association.

In the 1975/76 season, Blake Garden, as a team competing in Hong Kong Third Division League, reached the final of Hong Kong Junior Challenge Shield. Blake Garden defeated Hong Kong Second Division League club Jardine SA with a penalty goal and advanced to the Hong Kong Second Division League.

Hong Kong Junior Shield was a football competition in Hong Kong established in 1922. All teams in the Second Division and the Third Division were included in the competition.

Hong Kong Second Division League is the third level of football league in Hong Kong, founded in 1909. The top two teams are promoted to the Hong Kong First Division.

Jardines is a Hong Kong football club which is now only an associate member of HKFA which does not take part in any division of the league. Jardines has quit and re-entered the league twice in 1950s and 1970s.

In the 1976/77 season, Blake Garden placed 2nd in the Second Division League, and promoted to the Hong Kong First Division League for the first time.

The Hong Kong First Division League is the second-highest division in the Hong Kong football league system. Established in 1908, it is the oldest in Asia. The league was formerly the highest division in Hong Kong until the formation of the Hong Kong Premier League in 2014.

In the 1977/78 season, Blake Garden reached the final of the Hong Kong FA Cup, losing to Seiko SA.

Hong Kong FA Cup

Hong Kong FA Cup is a knockout cup competition in Hong Kong football, run by and named after The Hong Kong Football Association. The first edition of the competition was held in 1975, before then the cup was known as the Golden Jubilee Cup. The current season is the 33rd edition of the event. 11 different teams have won the cup with 10-time champions South China being the most successful.

Seiko SA football team

Seiko Sports Association were one of the most famous and successful football teams in Hong Kong history. The team withdrew from the Hong Kong First Division League after the 1985–86 season.

In the 1978/79 season, during the match against Yuen Long District SA on 11 March 1978, players got in a fight. Blake Garden placed last that season and was relegated to the Second Division.
