The Blue Line or Line 1 is one of the two lines of Chennai Metro, Phase 1 Project, the second being the Green line. The line stretches from Chennai International Airport to Wimco Nagar Depot. The line consists of 26 stations out of which 13 stations are underground and 13 stations are elevated.
The line connects the northeast and the southwest ends of the city. The stations include:

Chennai Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Chennai, India. As of March 2024, the operational network consists of two colour-coded lines covering a length of 54 kilometres (33.55 mi) making it the fifth longest metro system in India. Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a joint venture between Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu built and operates the Chennai Metro. The system uses standard gauge and has a mix of underground and elevated stations.
Tiruvottriyur is a neighbourhood in North Chennai, administered by the Greater Chennai Corporation. It is part of the Tondiarpet division, located to the north of Chennai. It is one of the fifteen administrative zones in the Greater Chennai Corporation. The zone is called Zone 1 (Tiruvottriyur).

The Bhoj Metro is an under construction rapid transit system intended to serve the city of Bhopal, India, the capital of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The total system consists of 6 corridors covering a distance of 104.87 kilometres (65.16 mi). The first phase of the Bhopal Metro project consists of 28 km (17.40 mi) of line 2 & 5 being under construction. This project will cost ₹80 billion (US$1.0 billion) approximately. There will be three types of run – on road, on bridges, and underground in some locations.
Patna Metro (Patna MRTS) is a rapid transit system being constructed in the city of Patna, India. Construction will be completed over five phases, and the transit system would be owned and operated by the state-run Patna Metro Rail Corporation. In the first phase, five stations of Patna Metro will be operational by March 2025. Patna MRTS, constructed under a public-private partnership model, is estimated to cost ₹133,657.7 million (US$1.7 billion). This cost excludes land acquisition cost, which will be paid for by the Bihar government. The first phase (consisting of the east–west and north–south corridors) will include both a 15.36 km (9.54 mi) elevated track and a 16.30 km (10.13 mi) underground track.

CMBT Metro, officially known as Puratchi Thalaivi Dr. J. Jayalalithaa CMBT Metro, is an important elevated metro station on the South-East Corridor of the Green Line of Chennai Metro in Chennai, India, which will chiefly serve the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus in front of the main facade. On 31 July 2020, It has been named by Government of Tamil Nadu as Puratchi Thalaivi Dr. J. Jayalalithaa CMBT Metro to honor the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa, who inaugurated the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R Bus Terminus, Asia's biggest bus terminus and the metro station.

The Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System, also known as Delhi–Meerut RRTS, Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut RRTS and coloquially Rapid Rail, is an under-construction and partially operational 82.15 km (51.05 mi)-long semi high-speed rail and regional transit corridor that will connect the National Capital Region (NCR) cities of Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut. It is the first of the four rapid rail corridors planned under the first phase of the RapidX project managed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). Designed to allow a maximum speed of 180 km/h (110 mph), the distance between Delhi and Meerut will be covered in less than 60 minutes. The project is being executed at a cost of ₹30,274 crore (US$3.8 billion). It will start from Jangpura as the starting station, run through Sarai Kale Khan, the terminal for the three planned corridors, both in Delhi, and end in Modipuram in Meerut. It will have 16 stations and two depots at Duhai and Modipuram.
Wimco Nagar is an elevated metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Line 1 Extension of the Blue Line of Chennai Metro in Chennai, India. This station will serve the neighbourhoods of Wimco Nagar and other northern suburbs of Chennai. It is located in the neighbourhood of Tiruvottiyur, about 600 meters off the coast.
Thiruvottriyur Theradi is an elevated metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Line 1 Extension of the Blue Line of Chennai Metro in Chennai, India. This station will serve the neighbourhoods of Thiruvottriyur and other northern suburbs of Chennai. This station was inaugurated along with Wimco Nagar Depot Metro Station on March 14, 2022.
Wimco Nagar Depot Metro station is a Metro railway station on Line 1 Extension of the Chennai Metro. The station is one of the 10 stations in the Phase I northern extension and one of the 26 stations along the Blue Line of the Chennai Metro. The station will serve the neighbourhoods of Ernavur and other northern suburbs of Chennai. This station was inaugurated along with Thiruvottriyur Theradi Metro Station on 14 March 2022.
