Boing is a Spanish free-to-air television channel, owned by a joint venture between Mediaset España and Turner Broadcasting System Europe, which was launched in 2010. When Cartoonito and Cartoon Network were shut down in 2013, [1] many Cartoon Network programmes were moved to Boing, alongside new Boomerang programmes. The shows on the channel are also available in English via a second audio feed, whereas Doraemon uses the original Japanese audio track.

Turner Broadcasting System Europe is the company managing the collection of cable and satellite networks around Europe, Middle East and Africa. Turner Broadcasting System Europe operates the following brands: CNN International, Boomerang, Turner Classic Movies, TNT, Cartoon Network, Boing, truTV, HLN, Toonami, Warner TV and Cartoonito. The availability of these brands depends on what country in Europe, Middle East and Africa the viewer is from. The most available brands include Cartoon Network, Boomerang, CNN and Turner Classic Movies. In 2019, Turner EMEA will be moving to their new headquarters in Old Street, Shoreditch, London. The new headquarters will have more office space allowing room for the company's European operations to expand and a brand new custom-built CNN newsroom.

Cartoon Network (Spain) Spanish feed

Cartoon Network was a Spanish television channel operated by Turner Broadcasting System España. Being a version of the American television channel of the same name, the channel's programmes were mostly consisted of original productions from Cartoon Network and fellow Time Warner company Warner Bros., but it also broadcast other American and international productions.

Boing (Africa) African television channel

Boing is an African channel operated by Turner Broadcasting System Europe that first broadcast on May 30, 2015. The channel airs programming that is no longer transmitted by the African versions of some networks, such as the European versions, particularly the French versions.

<i>Adventure Time</i> American animated television series

Adventure Time is an American fantasy animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. Produced by Frederator Studios and Cartoon Network Studios, the series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake —a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo, where they interact with Princess Bubblegum, the Ice King, Marceline the Vampire Queen, BMO, and others. The series is based on a 2007 short produced for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios' animation incubator series Random! Cartoons. After the short became a viral hit on the Internet, Cartoon Network commissioned a full-length series, which previewed on March 11, 2010, and officially premiered on April 5, 2010.

<i>The Amazing World of Gumball</i> British-American childrens animated television series

The Amazing World of Gumball is a British-American animated television series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network. Produced primarily by Cartoon Network Studios Europe, it first aired on May 3, 2011. The series revolves around the lives of 12-year-old Gumball Watterson, a blue cat, and his best friend—adoptive brother goldfish Darwin, who attend middle school in the fictional city of Elmore. They frequently find themselves involved in various shenanigans around the city, during which time they interact with Gumball's family members—sister Anais and parents Nicole and Richard—and an extended supporting cast of characters.

<i>Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!</i>

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! is an American animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the twelfth incarnation of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo animated series. In the show, the Scooby-Doo gang decide to travel during their last summer break together, encountering havoc-wreaking monsters along the way. Described as having a more comedic tone than its previous incarnation, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, the show employs character traits from the original 1969 series on top of redesigned character models.

Penguin no Mondai is a comedic manga series by Yūji Nagai about a penguin named Beckham Kinoshita, who attends Kirikabu Elementary School and who likes to eat hamburgers and hot chips. It is published by Shogakukan and has been collated into 15 tankōbon volumes as of January 2013. The manga won the 55th Shogakukan Manga Awards in the children's division. It has been adapted into a televised anime series which airs on TV Tokyo & has also been adapted into a theatrical film.

<i>A Pup Named Scooby-Doo</i> television series

A Pup Named Scooby-Doo is an American animated mystery comedy series produced by Hanna-Barbera. It is the eighth incarnation of the studio's Scooby-Doo franchise, and depicts juvenile versions of the title character and his human companions as they solve mysteries, similarly to the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! television series. The series was developed by Tom Ruegger and premiered on September 10, 1988, airing for four seasons on ABC as well as during the syndicated block The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera until August 17, 1991. Ruegger, along with most of Hanna-Barbera's production staff, departed from the studio after the first season, and Don Lusk, a longtime animator for the Disney and Bill Melendez animation studios, took over as director.

Boomerang (Latin American TV channel) Latin American TV channel

Boomerang is a 24-hour cable television channel owned by Turner Broadcasting System. Initially it was focused an older audience, airing classical Hanna-Barbera cartoons, emulating the US variant of the channel. However, in 2006 it was rebranded. At the time of the rebrand, many people nicknamed it as the Latin American version of POGO, an Indian children-oriented channel. In January 2008, it was rebranded again with its own original graphics and programming, appealing to a teen-oriented audience, featuring original and syndicated series and movies, initially starting in Brazil and Mexico. It had also aired music clips and concert specials, under the Boombox block. The channel returned to children's programming as part of a worldwide rebrand on 28 September 2014, in addition debuting a new logo, graphics and schedule.
