Boyd Strait is the 40-kilometre (25 mi) wide strait lying between Snow Island and Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, and linking Drake Passage and the Bransfield Strait.

The strait was named in 1823 by a British expedition under James Weddell for Captain David Boyd, Royal Navy.

Letnitsa Glacier is a 0.9 nautical miles long glacier on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range east of Organa Peak and south of Riggs Peak. It is situated southwest of Gramada Glacier and northeast of Kremena Ice Piedmont, and flows southeastward into Hisarya Cove, Osmar Strait. Bulgarian early mapping in 2009. The glacier is named after the town of Letnitsa in northern Bulgaria.

Gramada Glacier is a 1.6 nautical miles long glacier on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range east of Riggs Peak, southeast of Madan Saddle and south of Neofit Peak. It is situated southwest of Armira Glacier and northeast of Letnitsa Glacier, and flows southeastward into Brashlyan Cove on Osmar Strait. The glacier is named after the town of Gramada in northwestern Bulgaria.

Armira Glacier is a 1.6 nautical miles long glacier on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range southeast of Slaveykov Peak and east of Neofit Peak. It is situated southwest of Dragoman Glacier and northeast of Gramada Glacier, and flows southeastward into Yarebitsa Cove on Osmar Strait. Bulgarian early mapping in 2009. The glacier is named after Armira River in southeastern Bulgaria.

Dragoman Glacier is a 1.4 nautical miles long glacier on Smith Island, South Shetland Islands draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range southeast of Zavet Saddle and south of the summit Mount Foster. It is situated southeast of Bistra Glacier, southwest of Landreth Glacier and northeast of Armira Glacier, and flows southeastward into Ivan Asen Cove, Osmar Strait. Bulgarian early mapping in 2009. The glacier is named after the town of Dragoman in western Bulgaria.

Rupite Glacier is a 2.9 kilometres (1.8 mi) long glacier on Smith Island, South Shetland Islands draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range east of the summit Mount Foster and southeast of Evlogi Peak. It is situated southeast of Chuprene Glacier, southwest of Pashuk Glacier and northeast of Landreth Glacier, and flows southeastward into Osmar Strait. Bulgarian early mapping in 2008. The glacier is named after the settlement Rupite and the nearby protected area in southwestern Bulgaria.

Krivodol Glacier

Krivodol Glacier is a 3.8 km long glacier on Smith Island, South Shetland Islands in Antarctica draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range northeast and east of Antim Peak, southeast of Varshets Saddle and south of Slatina Peak. It is situated southwest of Ovech Glacier and northeast of Pashuk Glacier, and flows southeastward into Osmar Strait northeast od Sredets Point. Bulgarian early mapping in 2008. The glacier is named after the town of Krivodol in northwestern Bulgaria.

Ovech Glacier

Ovech Glacier is a 3.5 km long glacier on Smith Island, South Shetland Islands draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range southeast of Drinov Peak and east of Popovo Saddle and Sevlievski Peak. It is situated southeast of Vetrino Glacier and Yablanitsa Glacier, and northeast of Krivodol Glacier, and flows east-southeastward into Nikolov Cove on Boyd Strait. Bulgarian early mapping in 2009. The glacier is named after the medieval fortress of Ovech in northeastern Bulgaria.

Vetrino Glacier

Vetrino Glacier is a 3.2 km long glacier on the northwest side of Imeon Range on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It is situated northeast of Yablanitsa Glacier, southwest of Dalgopol Glacier and northwest of Ovech Glacier, drains the northwest slopes of Imeon Range north of Drinov Peak, northwest of Kostenets Saddle and west of Mount Pisgah, and flows northwestwards into Drake Passage both northeast and south of Gregory Point. The glacier is named after the town of Vetrino in northeastern Bulgaria.

McFarlane Strait McFarlane Strait

McFarlane Strait is a strait lying between Greenwich Island and Livingston Island, in the South Shetland Islands off Antarctica. It is 24 kilometres (13 nmi) long and 3 kilometres (1.6 nmi) wide. The name appears on an 1822 chart by Captain George Powell, a British sealer, and is now well established in international usage.

Morton Strait

Morton Strait is the 9 km (4.9 nmi)-long and 6.2 km (3.3 nmi)-wide strait between Snow Island on the southwest and Rugged Island and Livingston Island on the northeast, in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The Aim Rocks and Long Rock lie in the strait.

Hurd Peninsula lies between South Bay and False Bay on the south coast of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The Spanish Juan Carlos I Antarctic Base and the Bulgarian St. Kliment Ohridski Base are situated on its west coast.

Nelson Strait (South Shetland Islands)

Nelson Strait is the 9 km long and 9.8 km wide strait lying between Robert Island and Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The strait was explored by early 19th century sealers and first charted by Nathaniel Palmer in 1821. While it had a variety of different names in the past, the present name — probably taken from the adjacent Nelson Island — has become well established in international usage.

Liberty Rocks is a group of four prominent adjacent rocks lying at the north entrance to Nelson Strait in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica and extending 430 by 120 m. The area was visited by early 19th-century sealers.

Landreth Glacier is the steep 2.3 km long and 600 m wide glacier on the southeast side of Imeon Range, Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, which is draining southeastwards from Mount Foster between the side ridges separating it from Rupite Glacier to the north and Dragoman Glacier to the south, and flowing into Ivan Asen Cove on Bransfield Strait.

Pashuk Glacier

Pashuk Glacier is the steep 2.7 km long and 600 m wide glacier on the southeast side of Imeon Range, Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, which is draining southeastwards from Vakarel Saddle between the side ridges descending from Antim Peak and Evlogi Peak and separating it from Krivodol Glacier to the north and Rupite Glacier to the south respectively, and flows into Osmar Strait southwest of Sredets Point.

Ritya Glacier

Ritya Glacier is the steep 1.8 km long and 1.4 km wide glacier draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It is situated northeast of Nosei Glacier, southeast of Kongur Glacier and south of Saparevo Glacier, flows southeastwards from Mount Christi and enters the head of Linevo Cove on Boyd Strait.

Nosei Glacier

Nosei Glacier is the steep 1.3 km long and 1 km wide glacier draining the southeast slopes of Imeon Range on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It is situated east of upper Dalgopol Glacier, southeast of Kongur Glacier and southwest of Ritya Glacier, flows eastwards from a part of the main crest between Mezek Peak and Mount Christi, and enters the head of Pakusha Cove on Boyd Strait.

Nikolov Cove

Nikolov Cove is the 950 m wide cove on Boyd Strait indenting for 500 m the southeast coast of Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, and entered northeast of Velikan Point and southwest of Razdel Point. Its head is fed by Ovech Glacier.
