Sringaram is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language period drama film directed by debutante Sharada Ramanathan, a cultural activist. Co-written by novelist Indra Soundar Rajan and produced by Padmini Ravi, herself a dancer, it stars Aditi Rao Hydari, in her Tamil film debut, in the lead role alongside Manoj K. Jayan, Hamsa Moily and Y. Gee. Mahendra. The film depicts the life of a Devadasi during the 1920s. Sringaram became highly critically acclaimed, winning three prizes at the 53rd National Film Awards and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, besides several screenings at various international film festivals, much before its theatrical release on 5 October 2007.
Kajal A Kitchlu is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil language films alongside Hindi language films. She has worked in more than 50 films and has received two South Indian International Movie Awards.
Aditi Rao Hydari is an Indian actress who works mainly in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. Born into the Tyabji–Hydari family, she made her film debut with the Malayalam film Prajapathi (2006). She went on to have supporting roles in several Hindi films, including the dramas Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011) and Rockstar (2011), the horror film Murder 3 (2013), the thriller Wazir (2016), and the period drama Padmaavat (2018).
Maanada Mayilada is an Indian dance competition show airing from 2007 till 2015 on Kalaignar TV. The show was conceived, produced and directed by noted choreographer Kala Master. She is also one of the judges and the only constant judge throughout the show. Other judges have been Brinda, Khushbu, Rambha, Namitha, Simran, Mumtaj, Sudha Chandran, Meena. Prashanth and Srikanth. Sanjeev and Kiki Vijay have been the hosts for all seasons.
Dulquer Salmaan is an Indian actor, playback singer and film producer who predominantly works in Malayalam films in addition to Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management from Purdue University and worked as a business manager in Dubai before pursuing a career in acting. Dulquer is a recipient of several awards including, four Filmfare Awards South and a Kerala State Film Award.

Kala, known professionally as Kala Master, is an Indian choreographer. She is the director of the Indian reality dance talent show, Maanada Mayilada – where she is one of the three judges. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Choreography in 2000 for her folk dance sequences in the Malayalam film, Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal. She is also classically trained in dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Kathak.
Raghuram was an Indian dance choreographer, who choreographed more than a thousand songs in Indian films across various languages. He was born into a Tamil Brahmin Iyer family and is the grandson of actor Krishnaswami Subrahmanyam.
O Kadhal Kanmani, also known as OK Kanmani, is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written, directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen, portraying a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai. Prakash Raj and Leela Samson play supporting roles as an older couple in the film, portraying the younger couple's landlords. The film was said to be a "reflection of the modern mindset of urban India", dealing with issues such as marriage and traditional values. The film featured music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by P. C. Sreeram and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
Kaatru Veliyidai is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language romantic war film, produced, written and directed by Mani Ratnam. Made under the Madras Talkies banner, it features music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varman and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The film stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, with Lalitha, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Delhi Ganesh and RJ Balaji and Shraddha Srinath playing other pivotal roles. Set in the backdrop of the Kargil War of 1999, the film narrates the story of an Indian Air Force pilot who recalls his romance with a doctor in the lead up to the war, while being kept as a prisoner of war at a jail in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Kaatru Veliyidai marked Aditi's comeback and Shraddha's debut in Tamil cinema.
SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for best acting done by an actress in Telugu films. The award was first given in 2012 for films released in 2011. Shruti Haasan is the most awarded with 3 times winning the award and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the most nominated with 8 nominations.
Solo is a 2017 Indian experimental anthology film co-written, co-produced and directed by Bejoy Nambiar with Dulquer Salmaan in a quadruple role as Shekhar, Trilok, Siva and Rudra. Shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil, production began during November 2016. Solo tells the story of four people, each story revolving around four elements: Earth, Fire, Wind and Water, each with the facets of Lord Shiva. The film was released on 5 October 2017 in both Tamil and Malayalam worldwide and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Athade, which released on 22 June 2018. It's also dubbed into Hindi as Tatva.
Kajal Aggarwal is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Telugu and Tamil films, alongside Hindi films. She made her debut with a minor role in the Hindi film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... (2004). Aggarwal debuted in Telugu cinema with Lakshmi Kalyanam (2007), and was a box office failure. The year's other Telugu film, Chandamama, became a commercial success. Her first Tamil release Pazhani came the following year. The next year, she had four releases. One of them, S. S. Rajamouli's Telugu film Magadheera - became a major breakthrough for her, and earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu nomination. Aggarwal's first release of 2010 was the romantic comedy Darling, which became a commercial success at the box office, and earned her another Filmfare nomination for Best Actress in Telugu. Her other two releases of the year — the Tamil thriller Naan Mahaan Alla and the romantic comedy Brindavanam - were also successful, with the latter fetching her the CineMAA Award for Best Actress. In 2011, she appeared in Mr. Perfect, which earned her a third Filmfare nomination for Best Actress in Telugu. In the same year, she starred in the Hindi film Singham, a remake of the 2010 Tamil film Singam and she received a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination. Aggarwal's performance in AR Murugadoss' Thuppakki (2012) won her the CineMAA Award for Best Tamil Actress, and Govindudu Andarivadele (2014) earned her a fourth Filmfare nomination for Best Telugu Actress. She made her television debut with the Tamil-language streaming series Live Telecast (2021).
Shalini Pandey is an Indian actress who works in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017), and has since acted in the Tamil film 100% Kadhal (2019), the Telugu films Mahanati (2018) and 118 (2019), and the Hindi film Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022).
Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language romantic heist comedy thriller film written and directed by Desingh Periyasamy in his directorial debut. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Ritu Varma, Rakshan and Niranjani Ahathian. Gautham Vasudev Menon and Uday Mahesh play supporting roles. Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal marks the debuts of Rakshan and Nirinjani. The plot is centered on two pairs of con artists who engage in various scams while juggling romantic relationships, ultimately teaming up to pull off a high-stakes heist.
Varane Avashyamund is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Anoop Sathyan, son of Sathyan Anthikad, in his debut. It was produced by Dulquer Salmaan. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana and Kalyani Priyadarshan. It has music by Alphons Joseph. It also marked the comeback film of Suresh Gopi after a five-year hiatus from acting; actress Shobana's Malayalam comeback after a 7-year absence as well as also Kalyani's Malayalam debut film. Principal photography began on 1 October 2019 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The film was released on 7 February 2020 to mostly positive reviews.
Hey! Sinamika is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Brinda, in her directorial debut, and produced by Jio Studios and Global One Studios. It is an adaptation of the 2008 Argentine film A Boyfriend for My Wife, but has the roles switched. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Aditi Rao Hydari as the husband and wife respectively and Kajal Aggarwal as a relationship counselor. It follows Yaazhan, a software engineer, who's wife, Mouna, tries to get rid of as she claims him to be annoying.
Prasanna Sujit is an Indian dance choreographer who primarily works in South Indian cinemas. He has choreographed dance sequences for various south Indian films. He has won Kerala State Film Award for Best Choreography, three times.
