Brinda Gopal know professionally is Brinda, is an Indian dance choreographer and director [1] who primarily works in South Indian cinema. She has choreographed dance sequences for various Indian films. She has won one National Film Award for Best Choreography, [2] Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Choreographer, twice and Kerala State Film Award for Best Choreography, four times. [3]
Brindha was born into a family of seven girls to Mani Iyer, a caterer, and a homemaker in Erode. [4] An elder sister Jayanthi, first started dancing and acted as heroine in two films – Uthiripookkal and Poottatha Pookkal. Brindha's second sister Girija, learned Bharatanatyam at Kalakshetra; and went to work with choreographers Thangam and later Raghuram Master, whom she married later, and also become an independent choreographer. Kala, a leading choreographer, is her youngest sister. [5] [6]
One of her nephews, Prasanna Sujit, is also a film choreographer. One of her niece Gayathri Raghuram, daughter of late Raghuram Master and her sister Girija is also a choreographer and an actress. She has also introduced her another niece Keerthi, daughter of Jayanthi Master and wife of actor Shanthanu Baghyaraj, as an anchor in her dance reality show Maanada Mayilada . [7]
Through the Bollywood film Insaf Ki Pukar she started her career as an assistant choreographer in 1987.She became independent choreographer with the 2000 Tamil film Mugavaree which features Ajith Kumar and Jyothika in lead roles. She was awarded the 'Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Choreographer by the state government at Tamil Nadu State Film Awards in 2000 for her work for that film.

Sringaram is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language period drama film directed by debutante Sharada Ramanathan, a cultural activist. Co-written by novelist Indra Soundar Rajan and produced by Padmini Ravi, herself a dancer, it stars Aditi Rao Hydari, in her Tamil film debut, in the lead role alongside Manoj K. Jayan, Hamsa Moily and Y. Gee. Mahendra. The film depicts the life of a Devadasi during the 1920s. Sringaram became highly critically acclaimed, winning three prizes at the 53rd National Film Awards and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, besides several screenings at various international film festivals, much before its theatrical release on 5 October 2007.
Kajal A Kitchlu is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil language films alongside Hindi language films. She has worked in more than 50 films and has received two South Indian International Movie Awards.
Aditi Rao Hydari is an Indian actress who works mainly in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. Born into the Tyabji–Hydari family, she made her film debut with the Malayalam film Prajapathi (2006). Maanada Mayilada is an Indian dance competition show airing from 2007 till 2015 on Kalaignar TV. The show was conceived, produced and directed by noted choreographer Kala Master. O Kadhal Kanmani, also known as OK Kanmani, is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written, directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. Kaatru Veliyidai is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language romantic war film, produced, written and directed by Mani Ratnam. Made under the Madras Talkies banner, it features music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varman and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The film stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, with Lalitha, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Delhi Ganesh and RJ Balaji and Shraddha Srinath playing other pivotal roles. Set in the backdrop of the Kargil War of 1999, the film narrates the story of an Indian Air Force pilot who recalls his romance with a doctor in the lead up to the war, while being kept as a prisoner of war at a jail in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Kaatru Veliyidai marked Aditi's comeback and Shraddha's debut in Tamil cinema.

Solo is a 2017 Indian experimental anthology film co-written, co-produced and directed by Bejoy Nambiar with Dulquer Salmaan in a quadruple role as Shekhar, Trilok, Siva and Rudra. Shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil, production began during November 2016. Solo tells the story of four people, each story revolving around four elements: Earth, Fire, Wind and Water, each with the facets of Lord Shiva. The film was released on 5 October 2017 in both Tamil and Malayalam worldwide and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Athade, which released on 22 June 2018. It's also dubbed into Hindi as Tatva.
Kajal Aggarwal is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Telugu and Tamil films, alongside Hindi films. She made her debut with a minor role in the Hindi film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... (2004). Aggarwal debuted in Telugu cinema with Lakshmi Kalyanam (2007), and was a box office failure. The year's other Telugu film, Chandamama, became a commercial success. Principal photography began on 1 October 2019 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The film was released on 7 February 2020 to mostly positive reviews.
Hey! Sinamika is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Brinda, in her directorial debut, and produced by Jio Studios and Global One Studios. It is an adaptation of the 2008 Argentine film A Boyfriend for My Wife, but has the roles switched. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Aditi Rao Hydari as the husband and wife respectively and Kajal Aggarwal as a relationship counselor. It follows Yaazhan, a software engineer, who's wife, Mouna, tries to get rid of as she claims him to be annoying.
